But regarding his dancing though, he's actually a really good dancer, he is much much better than Luhan was, why was Luhan the lead dancer (in EXO-M) and not him ? Xiumin has never been particularly bad at any one thing but his dancing has really improved at this point and he's totally feeling himself. I was actually really watching him during "Hurt" and surprisingly he was one of the ones I couldn't stop watching. He's really gotten a lot better. Im sure when it comes to line/dance distribution SM does it based on skills(and xiumin mad popular in Korea since after Wolf comeback) and SM knows it better than fans. And based on fancams he has been getting more lines. While last year he also mentioned in some videos that he practice and improve a lot. For dance, probably cause Luhan was the face of M like Kai? He was better at dancing compared to Luhan since the start ( Luhan is better at singing)... so yeah. Who has the skills and is more underrated?? Of course SM will never capitalize off of them because they think only for the betterment of the group rather the members as individual idols... this was one of the problems with ludakris. I don't think most ppl would say xiumin Because he's jack of all trades, master of none. People normally only notice the best or the worst. He gets lines in songs unlike Sehun. His dancing not as hilarious as suchenyeol. He's not REALLY good at singing either. If he is, he would have been part of vocal line. And im sure he's worse(idk now but as of the previous album) he's supposingly below suho and lay who were barely recognized by their singing skills. He's above average in vocals but there are people better than him. I think SM might be putting him down the same path Leeteuk is taking, the mc route. I'm sure that Xiumin has always been the lead vocal and dancer even before Luhan left it's just that after he left, xiumins gotten more singing lines. Xiumin is a great technical dancer but he lacked personal style in the past. At times, he was hitting the moves too hard. This time round though, he's much more graceful. And for the concert, he's in/near the dance center most of time (eldorado/growl remix/hurt/exodus). He used to be at the extreme sides or back lol Not underrated in dance anymore. It's just whether people open their eyes to acknowledge it or not. Also, I think Suho, Lay and Xiumin has gotten more lines for the new songs. All aren't as underrated in singing anymore. Now that Kris and Luhan are both gone, Tao and Xiumin have a bigger stage presence overall, especially Xiumin who was always overshadowed. His vocals aren't the worst but he sounds good too.
