Having the IV in my arm and the sting of the drugs going into my blood hurt more than the actual surgery (still wish I had got it outpatient, but the doctor was convinced I wouldn't be able to handle the pain of only local anesthetic). I've had a fair amount of broken bones and sprains but I usually just wrap stuff in gauze and splint it until it heals XD I'm lucky nothing really bad has happened to me, you guys are tough! Which wasn't at all a bad experience other than the fact that I'm sad I waited so long to do it because my jaw is kind of fucked up now, but oh well.
