Lee Seung Gi Aiming to Make His Comeback as a Singer in April

 

 

It has been reported that singer-actor Lee Seung Gi is gearing up to make his long-awaited return as a singer this coming April!

While April is the comeback period that the singer-actor is aiming for, it is said that it may be pushed back to May at the latest.

On March 9, a representative of his agency told OSEN, “It is true that Lee Seung Gi is currently working on song production with the goal of releasing [a new album] around the end of next month or the beginning of May. He is in the final stages of album productions. However, the release date has yet to be decided. He is planning to show various sides of himself [with his return].â€

It has been almost three years since the release of his last album as a singer in 2012 with his mini album “Forest.†During his time away from the singing stage, he has shown many different sides through dramas, movies, as well as variety shows. However, many fans have expressed their excitement to finally see him come back as a singer once again.

Lee Seung-gi’s album out in April

 

 

South Korean singer-actor Lee Seung-gi aims to release a new album between April and May, local media reported Monday. 

 

The new album, which comes more than two years after the EP “Forest†in November 2012, was meant to be unveiled in March, but was pushed back to April due to Lee’s hectic schedule. 

 

Since wrapping up promotional activities for his latest film “Love Forecast,†Lee has been working on the album around the clock to release it by May. 

 

In an earlier interview with a media outlet, he raised expectations about the album, saying, “I am working on a new album with a musician I have liked for a long time.â€

 

The 28-year-old recently made his big-screen debut with the rom-com flick “Love Forecast,†released on Jan. 14. In the film, he played a sweet, unassuming elementary school teacher in love with a childhood friend, played by actress Moon Chae-won. 

 

Since then, Lee has focused on his acting career, starring in numerous TV series and films. 

 

Lee debuted in 2004 at age 17 with the nationwide hit “Because You’re My Girl.â€

His last (mini) album, he never promoted it, he performed for Mnet because fans asked him to, and only appeared in few variety shows, so I don't know if he'll promote actively or just drop it with nothing.

 

I think it's okay. Maybe they'll gain attention, maybe not. (I don't care)
