Me too. I joined this forum in August and didn't know there is a Kris thread until March 

 

Kris doesn't need to be pitied because he has tons of fans outside this forum. Therefore, I don't feel like convincing any users to become his fans because it's not necessary.

 

Previously I was so sad and angry at all the hate he gets on Onehallyu that I had a serious depression.

After a while, I realized that I got exhausted not because others hate my bias, but because I spent too much time hating those haters. Therefore, I just learn to stop hating them and accept that people are different. I can't force people to like what I like as well as they can't force me to hate what they hate. Each of us is born an original. Why do I need to feel angry just because they have different opinions than me? 

 

It's human nature that people want to turn to the good side. At the end, there are always more lovers than haters on this planet. We can't always protect our bias against haters, but that doesn't mean we are weaker. As long as the good is till there, the evil can't win no matter how strong it is. Haters will eventually get tired of hating, but fans will never get tired of loving. 

 

So I decide to focus on loving Kris now, everything else is just trivial ^^

 

I was debating on whether or not I should make a thread for Kris and Makebelieveup (I want to know your real name) told there was one already and we started spamming hehe.

I don't pity him because of them, I just felt like he didn't deserve it which is why I came to this thread. I was like 'I'm going to post so much that this thread will surpass their faves' and 'I'll invite other fans and shove Kris down the haters' throats'. I was so anger motivated that it became so much more about proving there are people who appreciate him rather than appreciating him and I regret that so much. I really get what you mean. It's a waste of time and you get emotionally exhausted over time.

I think people hate Kris because of his intimidating look and awkward personality. Like he was handsome and he acted cold. So cold + handsome = cocky in some people's opinions. It didn't help when he is a Chinese member and he wasn't promoted as Exo-K member.

 

This forum is Exo-K biased. Adding on that, he isn't really musically talented enough to convince people that he should be cocky you know. Like they already formed an opinion that he is cocky, but then, he had nothing to prove to them what he should be cocky for. So they think that he is cocky because of his good looks. But there are so many good-looking members out there, why should they choose a cocky one. Kris's English and attitude and talent are all misunderstood, negatively. 

 

Oh well, at least, it's getting better now after Showtime had ended airing. People are seeing a new side of Kris.

I'm sorry. I got so distracted with some school stuff and sickness that I only posted in Tao and Suho's thread. I agree with what you said about the cockiness and how he is a chinese exo-m members but to me, it doesn't explain why he got on their nerves

I agree. Chanyeol is my least favorite and I tend to stay far away from his stuff, but I could never think of hating on him like some people hate Kris and Tao. I just... ignore Chanyeol stuff.

EXO and all 12 members have a lot of haters right now because they are new yet so popular. We shouldn't worry because the hate will tone down with time.

I've been a fan of SNSD since 2009. This kind of hate is still nothing compared to what SNSD got back then. These haters are annoying, but they somehow make our bias even more famous, so just let them keep hating. They'll get tired at the end

I really love Exo-M (much more than Exo-K in fact). My favorite one is Lay. But Kris... Sometimes I don't even understand what he has in mind. And sometimes I find him drop dead gorgeous.

 

In conclusion sometimes he's my style (like chicken) !

 

And I'll never understand those who hate some people they don't even know in real life.

I like this kind of rap from Kris (around 2:00). He should utilize his deep voice more. It sounds sexy

It's so hard to hear though. Kris should try to lighten his tone a little because that roughness in his voice, though suits for rapping, makes it hard to know what he's saying. I like his nothin on u rap the most despite it being too short. I like that type of rap for him.
