Pann: EXID Hani says she'll be a singer only until her contract expires

MHJ: "How long do you want to promote in EXID?"

Hani: "When my contract expires, I want to have another job."

MHJ: "Even though you still haven't negotiated with your company? What's the reason?"

4.jpg

Hani: "There's a field I want to study and work. My dream is to become a psychological counselor."

MHJ: "You're thinking this because you've had a lot of hard time."

Hani: "Since I was young, I had to compete with others. I was put in a same dorm with my members, and was told to live like a family. But I still had to compete with my fellow members."

MHJ: "I also lived the same way since I was eighteen..."

(Hani cries)

MHJ: "Now that you've talked about it, I hope you feel better."

(She's been taking cyber university courses to minor in psychology. Since Every Night promotions, Hani had already said she will not renew her contract to become a psychological counselor for trainees.)

1. [+254, -15] EXID didn't do well so she was preparing to become a psychological counselor after her contract expires. But she suddenly got popular with a fancam. She's surely happy but I'm sure she's also confused. She should work hard in EXID and think about a psychological counselor later. She could renew her contract and there are a lot of other options

2. [+171, -540] Then why did she become a singer?

3. [+160, -28] Hani is really pretty and is a natural beauty. She's also good at studying... Why did she have to become a singer? She should've pursued her studies and be happy. It's unfortunate

4. [+64, -0] I think she decided to become a psychological counselor after struggling to debut as an idol

5. [+42, -5] Must be hard for her... She'd feel pressured for her sudden popularity

6. [+37, -3] Hul... I think the fans would still want to see her, though

Like what Jessica did, just follow your heart, Hani.

Be true to y ourself there's nothing more miserable than allowing others to live vicariously through you... if you want tobecome a psychological counselor then do it.. best of luck to her it's a lot of hard work from what I've heard

She's been growing on me. But I've seen this situation happen on many occasions. Girl group blows up, starts doing their round on variety, then tries to play the sympathy card to gain more fans.

why did she cry?

Moon Hee Jun spent half of his life in the entertainment industry and he has seen many people coming in and out with varying results i think Hani is just worried about her future just in case she's not an idol anymore because lbr if you don't have proper education degrees these days you can't get a proper job outside of entertainment industry

I wonder how many people are telling her to make sure to keep her fame, kept her momentum etc. I wonder how burdensome it is for her. I'm so glad that she's getting herself and her group known. I really like her attitude as well. I would love to continue to see her as an idol. But I'm not her, she's got her own worries, her own dreams.

I am glad for her. As long as she remains happy, I don't care what she goes for. I think it's completely understandable to lot want to continue in the idol life after having faced so much fear and uncertainty.

MTE. It's not unusual for people to pursue other interests when one thing isn't working out. But now she's been given the spotlight so it may be a harder choice for her. Whatever it is she decides, I hope people respect her choice instead of going, "She should've been [insert what they want her to here]!"

This was really selfish of her.

It's true, it's her choice. But she came on the show as a representative of the group "EXID".

Now, that her intentions are out. What now with the fanbase??

some will not feel like they should follow the group because, it's going to end once Hani finishes her contract.

the other members must find another girl now to replace her.

other trainees would've done anything to be in her shoes ...

if she didn't want it, why take up space ...

yes! she got the group out there ... but exid potential would've gotten out there regardless ...

Thinking about the future is scary. She knows what it's like to do your best and have no one give a second glance in this industry. I can understand why she wants to be prepared knowing that what she has now will not necessarily be the same tomorrow.

Thinking anout our future is scary too. :/

Solji is gaining public recognition too lately and I think LE can get one if she can get into any rap-related reality show like Unpretty Rap Star. Maybe she don't know what to do when she was debuted as an idol. Maybe that is one of her dreams too (to become a singer). Plus, sometimes, people change their mind after working on something. For example, my friend is working in one of the government sectors right now and she has planned to quit in two-three years from now and open a business. It is just not a normal people thing, celebrity has their plan too.

well ive always wanted to be an engineer or a physicist but I would regret a life if I wasnt a performer, I cant just pursue my studies and work straight away because my passion of dancing and singing depends on my youth, so its better to pursue that first and go for engineering for long term.

What are you talking about? To me it sounds like she wanted to be a singer, she trained for years and debuted in a group that didn't gain much recognition for years. The amount of stuff she must have been true is what made her want to study and follow that path, to help other trainees or idols in need of help. I don't find it selfish, more of the contrary tbh.

She should do what she wants. She already put EXID on the map, and that's enough imo. If she's going to be miserable continuing with her idol carreer then she def should follow her heart and try to achieve her dreams. I think sometimes fans forget members in idol groups are actual individual human beings, with individual dreams and feelings. I don't think anybody should sacrifice their happiness only to satisfy a couple of fans.
