Do you think SM will ruin El Dorado?

So I've been asking myself this for a long time. As most of you might know already, sometimes the official version of songs used in teasers is modified before releasing them in an album. However, in Machine's case, basically the whole song was changed and if you weren't told the song used in EXO's 5th teaser is Machine you would think Machine from the MAMA album and Machine from the teaser are two different songs.

It might be just me but I prefer teaser Machine, it's all personal preference so others might think the edited version is better. Now, going back to talking about El Dorado, I went back to the video where the full version of El Dorado is shown:

 

 

 

If we read the video's description:

 

"When i wrote Ice XV in january, I used a sample from a sample pack for the main melody. I cant remember the name of the sample or the sample pack, but i sliced up this sample to make the main melody in the song, the one that is recognisable as SMs teaser track.


SM have used the same sample from the same sample pack in the music for there teaser. I have no affiliation with SM, this is just a coincidence. 


Also iv been asked about final fantasy X-2 before. I have never played final fantasy, im not much a of a gamer. I have listened to this soundtrack since this has been pointed out to me and i agree there are similarities between the two. But as iv said, i used a sample pack to make Ice XV, so the similarities are purely coincidental.


I hope you like Ice XV despite all the confusion behind it."

 

Whiiiich probably means El Dorado won't sound like we thought it would? The description states the melody comes from a sample pack, there's a high possibility SM will alter it to avoid El Dorado's melody from sounding exactly like the sample--you know, to make it sound more like a song made by SM.

Yeah Machine sounds very different but Black Pearl and Let Out The Beast turned out great. I hope SM will do a good job with El Dorado as well.

Machine was SUCH an improvement over the heavily dubstep teaser IMO and mostly all of the other teaser tracks sound AMAZING as full songs (ML, LOTB, BDC, BP, Beautiful, Angel, etc.)

 

So, I don't think they'll screw it up~

Yeah I think El Dorado would be like Machine, cause El Dorado sounds too instrumentally for me, can't imagine vocals on the current instrumental, if you get what I mean.

 

But nevertheless I think it will still sound good, cause I loved Machine as well as the other teasers turned into full songs.

But, in EXO teaser for the concert its the same song from the teaser and ..... I don't see the big deal. I like Machine on the Mama album a lot and a song for the teaser wouldn't sound right with EXO's voices

Right Machine wouldn't sound right as a song at all.. :/ that my Opinion... its meant for a dance and be mixed but not as a song only a dubstep song

ehhhh tbh i would not have liked machine if it had stayed in the original form. toooo much dubstep. i think the album version was better. and the teaser version didn't sound anything like something that would be used in a song- it sounded like a teaser. but i think that the el dorado teaser has a very nice sound to it that could be transferred onto the album nicely.

I like both versions of Machine but DAMN that teaser was so powerful and amazeballs it fucking blew me away. 

 

They better not break my heart with El Dorado. If they change it too much or ruin it or something I'll be a sad panda.

El dorado is kinda the same as the instrumental of "Beautiful"(if u know what i mean. its so soft-sounding, fairy-tale like lol) So i think it will end up sounding great.
