People can talk trash about them not deserving the top 3, But I do. Many people were complaining about JYP. Let's not forget that JYP created 2pm, 2am, miss A etc. they are in the top 3 for a reason. Even cube is doing better as a company (Hyuna, Beast, A Pink) while JYP only has Suzy (I'd say 2PM but their comeback flopped). WG is dead. Sohee left. What the hell is he doing? Its a name given collectively to SM, YG and JYP for their impact and their actions in spreading the Hallyu wave. They set the standards for kpop as it is today - as well as idol groups that preceded them. Its not like companies can move in and out of the big three. Miss A topping MAMA online voting with no 2014 comeback? And even G Soul and 15& were in the top 3 on Melon. Good Public recognition and has fans with varieties of ages. Lyrics are good and has depth. SM- BEST DANCERS and dance routine out of the three. Their music makes me wanna dance. Focuses on music rather than lyrical depth most of the times. Artists are beautiful and also talented(most of them). Large dedicated fandom. Sometimes can get bit out of control. Thats only cuz their fandom is big and dedicated. JYP- Good music and BEST LYRICS out of the three . Going downhill recently cuz JYP is writing songs like A.(cute but soso). He needs to take a vacation and come back with fresher lyrics like last time. Good fandom size but only some are dedicated. (Also JYP,SM and YG are big three cuz there is no one to replace them yet. I said it before, Suzy alone is bigger than 4minute and Apink, 2pm even with "flops" comeback make much more money than B2ST (Nichkhun is bigger than any B2ST member too). Also Sunmi is way bigger than G.NA, the same with Got7 and Btob (and the Cube acts debuted earlier). If you are going to replace JYP in the Big3, it should be FNC. both companies make more money than CUBE, which is more important than having digital hits or winning in music shows.
