Several valid reasons why Sistar should not be classified as top tier...

1. Sajaegi I know i know, where's the proof right? Well the evidence is right in front of us, we just sometimes fail to acknowledge it tbh

There have been countless evidence actually leading to their company manipulating charts so it's in the realm of possibility. Like senior citizens streaming their music at the break of dawn early in the morning, etc.

They are also the pioneers and are spearheading the sajaegi movement as we speak.

 

2. Fans (or lack thereof)
Idk if I'm the only one that have noticed, but they don't quite have as much devoted fans as
other top tier groups. Also the fact that their rep were giving out free concert tickets because they failed to fill half of the stadium they held a concert in proves that.

 

3. Iljins 75% of Sistar had iljin rumors right from the get go and that have stuck with many avid KPop fans up to this day. I'm not saying that the public may hate them, but it might've affected them from acquiring devoted fans versus casual ones.

4. Awards Another thing that have been mentioned several number of times was Starship being involved in the re-opening or re-surfacing of Bom's scandal. Then came the process of elimination which then led to Sistar winning Best Girlgroup in Mama by default.

 

5. Physical sales N/A

 

So what do you all think? Do you think Sistar deserves their "spot" in the top tier or not?
This is not a troll post, I honestly think they're 3rd tier at best.

The only possible reason is not as many devoted fans as other girlgroups.

But they have higher % of known members than some other top girlgroups.

that's just it, because it riles stans up, practically 85% of the threads made are stuff to riles stans up. i wouldn't be surprised if the average person in korea doesn't even acknowldge these rankings like fans do and just considers groups popular, unpopular, and one hit wonders.

also if fans didn't get so riled up less of these threads would be made.
