Should she forgive me?

I'm taking drivers ed and we have a workbook. We work in the workbook and then take a test every other week on a module.

I wasn't sure if the workbook was a grade, so I asked my classmate if it was one. She said no.

a few weeks later, my other classmate told me it is one! I emailed my teacher about it. I did all of the work on time;however, I didn't turn it in. Should my teacher forgive me or no? 😭

were there instructions given at the beginning and you didn't listen?

I'm not really sure. My class is pretty loud. I usually pay attention to instructions pretty well so I don't understand how I missed it.

she shouldnt forgive you for being a Bieber fan tbh

😭😭😭 in all seriousness I'm pretty distraught

Isn't this something you have to always do? Sounds to me like you always work in the workbook and you're making it sound like this is thr FIRST time you had to turn it in.

It is the first time.

rephrase: we've had to turn it in once but we've worked in it twice

I don't get it. How could you not know to turn it in? Didn't you walk into class and the teacher ask for everybody's workbook?

I saw some people putting their books behind my teacher's desk so I asked around and people said that they just put it there bc they didn't want to carry it around.

Maybe it really isn't for a grade and the second person you asked is wrong.

Sounds like you don't pay A BIT of attention in this class.

If it's for a small daily grade or something, just let it go.

It is definitely for a grade. I know I made a mistake, and I'm sorry for using this as my outlet. I just wanted some guidance.

I try to pay attention in this class as best as I can...but it's drivers ed... I'm fourteen(the rest of my classmates have their permits)and I haven't touched a car in my life. It's kind of difficult to follow along when you barely have a grasp about what the whole class is about. That being said, I have my moments. I'm not the type of student who completely misses instruction, though.

Anyways, thank you for putting as much thought as you did in your replies. It's helped me reflect and hopefully become a better student.

I'd only worry about it depending on how big of a grade it is.
