This guy has leaked things before that turned out to be accurate. He detailed negotiations between Sony and Marvel as early as mid December, back when there was no way to know these things. --- Seems like a great choice. I personally prefer Logan Lerman, but if i'm honest Dylan O'Brien makes a better Peter Parker. Still not sold on his acting though, but I trust Marvel. Not that there's anything wrong with Andrew Garfield or anything, but he just had that "everyone's best friend" vibe to him so I couldn't really picture him as the school dweeb. And this guy has that same feeling. They need to stop going for these young, hott stars and literally just look for someone that is legit dork material. Logan Lerman was definitely a top contender, in my books, as well, but apparently he's sick of teen roles and Peter's going to be in high school. Either, either, way this film is going to be good. For any legitimate reason, or just because he's black/latino? It's kinda funny... I never saw anyone mention that name once in my 10+ years of liking Spider-Man outside of comic circles. I'm not too worried about how an actor looks. The groundwork for a good Peter Parker is clearly there with O'Brien. He fits the role. Though i'm somewhat sad for Andrew being kicked out like that.
