What group(s) you weren't a fan/stan of when they debuted, but later became a fan because of a certain show?

Just curious... I'm not sure if there's already a topic like this. I hope not.

So, what group(s) you didn't really like/care during their rookie days, but later became a fan after watching a variety, reality, or any show they were in and you thought something along the lines of, "This group is crazy. I think I'm liking them now!"? What show?

For example, I wasn't a fan of BTS when they debuted. Even though I like their music (No More Dream is one of my favorite BTS & K-pop debut songs), I wouldn't call myself a fan of the group then. Last year, I officially became a fan and decided I would stan them after seeing an episode (EP. 2) of American Hustle Life. The show was just airing on TV during that time, so I had to wait a week or two for the next episode and for the subs to come out. LOL Anyway, that show just gave me a lot of reasons to stan them. It made me fall in love with them and made me crave for more! OTL

So, for those who want to get into BTS or for new ARMYs who haven't seen it yet, please do check it out. You won't regret it. There are only 8 Episodes and you can find them on Youtube or Dailymotion. :imstupid:

They're just so fun (except for Jimin, He is still very no fun & got no jams), carefree, no shame, and talented group that as a noona fan, I just want to cry happily and drown myself in feels...  :rlytearpls:

No actually they are a bunch of idiots and a tease. XD

Shinhwa. I mean, I couldn't have liked them when they debuted because I wasn't even a year old at the time. And I got into kpop in 2010, when they were on their military duty hiatus. But thanks to Shinhwa Broadcast I was able to get into them and stan them very hard in 2013 especially. They're honestly the kings of variety shows.

Winner!! I even bitched to my friend about how boring empty was. But then I ended up watch winner TV months later for some reason (OK lies I was thirsty for mino) and got sucked in. What really made me like them were their performances during yg famy concert though.

SNSD I think Hello Baby got me  :rlytearpls:

Apink I disliked them so much, I mean being a SONE you tend to feel really salty towards Apink  :imstupid: I thought they were copycats and shit. Then the Jessica thing happened and I feel depressed so I tried to stay away from SNSD snd Jessica. I watched Apink Showtime because I only liked Bomi, First minutes of the show I was so Chorong biased already and I also loved all the members.

BTS that youtube channel where they upload videos being funny and stupid <3

GsD their weekly idols  :chu:

I liked Lovelyz since debut, but after watching Lovelyz Diary and their various interviews, specifically their Kan-ON! interview, I really fell in greater love with them. :ahmagah:

Let this song heal your life. :hoplz:

I also liked 2ne1 since their Fire release, but 2ne1tv really solidified my adoration for them.

I watched MTV B2st Documentary after watching all their MVs up until Beautiful coz I discovered Beast in Dec 2010... that show wasn't funny though for the most part.I just like seeing them work hard for their debut and hearing their stories. I felt they really want to make it and show people what they are capable of. Yep I love a good underdog story.

BTOB > I saw this clip of Changsub & Hyunsik in a room at Cube singing the acne? song lol and then they suddenly had a freestyle rap and decided to watch prob half of the show (never got around finishing it) but anw I fell in love with them coz they're really talented and the vocal line's voices are just <3. I'm not that big of a fan now though because their music for me has been at most, mediocre.
