"WGM is currently casting new couples"

=

1. [+238, -12] I hope my singers don't join it... if SM has proper thoughts. SM-ah, answer me

2. [+207, -4] Can they fucking cancel WGM and IAC? These shows are hated for years and yet they're still on air. ShitBC

3. [+205, -2] This is as shocking as watching IAC at Chuseok. I hope my singers don't get cast

download.jsp?FileID=31278577

4. [+92, -2] Glad to be a YG fan. YG doesn't even go on variety shows when they have a comeback ã…‹ã…‹

5. [+62, -3] If you want the show to be cancelled, then don't watch it. IAC got the highest ratings from the Chuseok specials. Do you think the staff will cancel the show when the show is getting the highest ratings? They'll cancel it if it gets low ratings. Why are you guys watching the show when you want it to be cancelled? If you want to watch it, watch it after it's aired. Don't watch it live

6. [+61, -2] This is one of the rare moments of being glad to be a YG stan... We don't even go on IAC... But the flaw is that we also don't go on other variety shows

7. [+54, -2] I really envy YG fans for this... They don't have to go on IAC or WGM ã… ã…

8. [+45, -0] They should keep Hong Jin Young and Nam Goong Min. Why are they keeping Kim Soeun and Song Jaerim?

9. [+40, -2] Thank you Yang CEO

download.jsp?FileID=31283064

10. [+37, -2] Another peaceful day for YG fans ã…‹ã…‹

11. [+35, -0] Don't put idols ã… ã…

12. [+34, -6] YG fans are happy once again. They never go on Korean variety shows ã… ã…  I honestly want Bigbang members to appear on IAC to see them at least...

i've tried to watch this show a million and one times but it's just boring af.

it's even worse when they pair idols who would never otherwise interact, like with yonghwa and seohyun, or even dislike each other, like that international ep. with kyuhyun and that one girl. and then you're supposed to believe there's any chemistry or feelings between them besides boredom or frustration.

What's wrong with IAC?

Idols seem to get injured too often, plus they're basically expected to stay there the entire time which I believe is around 24 hours. Plus apparently this time they said something like if a group refused to participate, they wouldn't allow them to promote on their music shows.

ohh dayumm...and here I was being hyped about the next one ._.

Infinite seems to be doing well on it though.

It's just the WGM thing I want idols to steer clear of... cringey and just..no

What's wrong with IAC?

You mean besides the fact that idols are forced to compete in strenuous events in order to promote their songs properly all the while running the risk of injury and still being unable to do exactly what they were there to do in the first place... Well, the uniforms are atrocious so I think that's enough reason for them to cancel that...

INFINITE usually do pretty well on it, but the members seem to get injured too, especially Woohyun.

I used to love IAC, but now I just look forward to the cute photos and fancams. It's the only good part about it

:rlytearpls:

I've never even made it through an episode of WGM because it's so cringe-worthy and uncomfortable to watch lmao

I love WGM. It really gives a chance for you to see what an idol/actor is like. Yes, I do believe its to an extent scripted like missions and so forth but i'm pretty sure most of it is like how it really is. I do believe they end up developing feelings especially with idols because how often can they meet pretty boys and girls and people won't kill em for it? Especially when they meet families, I feel like it becomes personal. However, the crush might simmer off throughout the relationship and how can you properly develop feelings when they're is like 5-10 cameras always following you. Some couples have said they get so used to them that they forget its there sometimes. My biggest gripe with wgm is that they don't present problems that real married couples go through like budgeting, home cooking, money problems, kids, work/home schedule balance. I wish they'd incorporate more realistic things to it and not just be a blind dating kinda thing.

PS: I'd love to see Sunggyu or Dongwoo in it. I'm dying for Gyuri to be in it also.

if the show wasn't so obviously scripted, it wouldn't be as bad. although, putting two people together and expecting them to act as a married couple is just awkward and unnatural for the most part.

either way, curious to see who would be next

You're not wrong, but on the other hand..there are idols who actually want to go and compete, such as Minho, Bora, Tao (some may argue that he doesn't enjoy going, but after having watched 2014 IAC, you can tell he was really upset that he didn't get as far ahead in high jump as he wanted to so I genuinely think he likes competing.) and a lot of others who really excel in athletics. I remember a year or two ago, the announcers were talking about how some of the girls actually practiced archery and went to competitions so that they could become better and compete at their highest ability.

That being said, I have no doubt that certain idols are forced to go. Kind of shitty that there is no happy medium where idols who want to attend can go, but others who want to opt out can do so as well.

Yeah, I saw that as well. I enjoy IAC because I get to see the athletic side of the idols but as I was told by Woohyunff, they do get injured. I agree with what you've said tbh. Watching IAC made me like Bora, and even motivated me to try in athletic activities LOL

But I dislike it a bit now because if some groups are being forced then it takes away the fun. I remember the first one and the previous ones where it was just a happy get together to compete in friendly athletic competitions.

xD the fancams are amazing tbh  and yeah he does get injured and sometimes I worry

He runs so fast though.

WGM is SO cringeworthy because sometimes the match-ups aren't very good and just watching your fave idols acting like they're married...  :omgwtf: sometimes though it's cute, but I just can't watch it LOL

Your siggy is amazing btw LOL
