If you’re not already awaiting Jinyoung’s upcoming drama, “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,†I am here to convince you to do so! In this manhwa-to-drama adaptation, Jinyoung plays Kim Yoon Sung, a scholar from a wealthy family. Yoon Sung shares a rivalry with Lee Young (played by lead actor Park Bo Gum), which I think is safe to assume stems from his interest in Hong Ra On (played by Kim Yoo Jung).

 

 

Recently revealed stills of the characters gave me major second-lead syndrome! The scene where Yoon Sung stares intensely at Ra On, totally made me squeal. But to really understand why I’m looking forward to Jinyoung’s interpretation of his character Yoon Sung, we have to take a look at his previous filmography.

Jinyoung only appears in the third episode, but with the endearing way he cared for his first love, Mijin, he left a deep impression. Yes, he might have oddly kissed her reflection on that bus ride, but it added to the sweetness that comes with having a first love. He’s able to deliver the meaningful emotions of those who fall in love for the first time.

In this show, Jinyoung plays the mischievous son of two celebrities. The way he tackled the effects a broken family can have on a growing child was very real and received a ton of praise. Lastly, regarding his work in dramas, we have “Love Detective Sherlock K.†This drama seemed like it was lacking in production budget, but I still had to watch it because of the way Jinyoung so ardently assisted and devoted his time to Sherlock K. In conclusion, Jinyoung understands how to be loyal, and in my book, that is a critical characteristic of a second lead.

 

 

 

All these reasons make me believe Jinyoung will be the perfect actor to move a main character’s heart and offer her undying devotion. Jinyoung has an extensive filmography that even includes nominations for his work in the huge box-office hit “Miss Granny.†Though we have yet to see him take on a lead role in a drama, his current endeavor with “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds†is a hopeful step that will propel him toward superstardom.

Currently known for his role as Kim Yoon Sung in KBS’s “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds,†B1A4’s Jinyoung recently shed his traditional clothes and turned into a sweet guy for Instyle magazine.

 

Jinyoung spoke of the mood on set of the drama, saying, “Because all the actors are close in age, we communicate well and sympathize with each other. "Moonlight drawn by the Clouds" Kim Yoon Sung is B1A4's JinYoung? Not a New Actor? 

 

 

 

"Moonlight drawn by the clouds" is receiving a lot of  warm attention due to Park Bo Gum's liveliness .  However, it is not only Park Bo Gum that is creating this wave in the drama, in fact, the other one who is leading and gaining the eyeballs of the audience is not a new actor but a member of B1A4, JinYoung.

JinYoung is acting as Kim Yoon Sung in KBS2 "Moonlight drawn by the clouds".   In the drama, Kim Yoon Sung is Joseon's infamous politician Kim Hun (acted by Cheon Ho-Jin) only grandson.  He was groomed as a perfect fit of a king but he fell deeply in love with the Ra-On who was dressed as a eunuch.

On the October 15 broadcast of “Entertainment Weekly,†B1A4’s Jinyoung takes the crew to the set of his drama, “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,†and also sits down for a candid interview.

 

Thinking about his budding acting career, the idol shares, “Living in the province, there weren’t many opportunities. I would go on many auditions and practice in the weekends. I started out with small roles, while envying the lead and supporting actors. I thought to myself, ‘I want to try those roles too.’ Being able to do it now is like a dream. Love in the Moonlight' supporting actor just wanted to play his part

 

SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Yonhap) -- Jinyoung of the hit TV series "Love in the Moonlight" said Thursday he initially felt a rivalry with lead actor Park Bo-gum before deciding to let go of those thoughts.

In the role of the charismatic scholar Kim Yoon-sung, the 25-year-old singer and actor competed with Park to win the heart of female protagonist Hong Ra-on (Kim Yoo-jung). He rescued her from dangerous situations and chose her over his aristocratic family, but no amount of devotion could bring the two together. The series ended last week with the scholar's death and a happy future for Hong and Crown Prince Lee Yeong (Park).

"It's true that at first I felt like Lee Yeong was my rival," Jinyoung said in an interview at the headquarters of his management agency WM Entertainment. "It couldn't be helped because two people who were once friends were in love with the same woman. But after some thought, I decided not to make it difficult. Instead of trying to beat Lee Yeong, I decided it would be better to show Kim Yoon-sung's charm."

His strategy worked. Although the drama's popularity was largely driven by Park, many women also admired Kim for his loyalty.

"In cartoons or dramas or films, we see people falling for characters that are aloof, but I think that's only in the fictional world," he said. "When I listen to people's stories, they say they prefer people who are nice to them in real life."

   Without his period costume on, Jinyoung was his bright and lively self. After all, he is the leader and vocalist of boy band B1A4.

He reminisced about the first few episodes with particular fondness. For example, when Kim finds out that Hong is in fact a woman disguised as a eunuch, he teases her, saying, "Isn't it cheating for a eunuch to be so fair?"

   "It was a lot of fun teasing her as if she was a man while knowing she was a woman," he recalled.

Jinyoung expressed a deep understanding for his character, saying he thinks it was possible for Kim to give up his life for Hong because he was young and bold and truly in love with the woman.

"To be honest, I wanted Kim Yoon-sung to die," he said. "I felt so sorry for him that I wanted to let him go. If he were to simply leave for some other place, he would have had to live with the pain."

B1A4's Jinyoung expressed affection for IOI during an interview with TV Report.

Jinyoung and IOI's relationship started on Mnet's 'Produce 101', and ever since, they have been keeping close. Jinyoung even composed the song "Hold On" for IOI's recent album, while he was busily filming for drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds'.

B1A4's Jinyoung shared his thoughts on his performance in the KBS drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds', acting, and more during an interview with Star News.
 

Through 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds', Jinyoung received many compliments and proved his great potential as an actor. In response to the praise, Jinyoung rated his own performance, saying, "I think I still have a long way to go. I especially felt that way after the recent drama." He explained, "It's important to have self-satisfaction, but I still have a long way to go until I am satisfied with my acting. I have to learn more and gain more experience."

 

He also said of the roles he dreams of playing in the future, "Next time I want to try playing an antagonist. I also want to try romantic comedy, and if I do, I hope it won't be a one-way crush but a love that works out. Also, I want to try hard productions, such as war movies or long-term traditional dramas. It'll be hard during filming, but I think I'll be very proud when filming is complete."

Jinyoung spoke to us about his death scene and said "It is okay to die this way".

 

He added, "There are people who say I died too suddenly, and that we should extend 2 more episodes to eleborate the process to the death. They think 18 episode is a little short and it would have been nice if we extend 2 more episodes."

 

"But I think 18 episodes were just right. Actually, when before I received the script, I really had no idea that I was going to die. I received the script, and prepared my heart for it."

 

Jinyoung also explained "However, I think of it as doing my things even as I die. Protecting the one I love even till the end. So I thought my character in the show passed off comfortably. There seems to be no regrets."

Kwak Dongyeon told us "Everyone's chemistry is really good. We are all about the same age and not one of us couldn't get along well. Even the things we are interested in matches well. We also cool-headedly correct each other, I think we lean a lot on each other."

 

He also added, "Bogum hyung, Jinyoung hyung and I all like music. Jinyoung has made a lot of music and Bogum also did OST and I also have a lot of interest. Yoojung mentioned "I have a lot of fate with B1A4 members. I have worked with Sandeul, Baro and now Jinyoung. I am very amazed, and Jinyoung oppa is very amazed too."

Kim Yoojung performed on Immortal Songs in 2012 with Sandeul and Baro for a special stage. Also, she worked with Baro in MBC drama "Angry Mom" with Baro, and now in "Love in the Moonlight" with Jinyoung.

Yoojung told us "It is amazing how we met from variety all the way to dramas. Now I see the oppas as friends. They feel like oppas who always come to my house and play isn't it? Feels like my neighbourhood oppas. Our characters match too so when I feel comfortable and get along well."

She also added on "The good point about Love in the Moonlight is our ages are about the same, so we are able to get close easily. Even though I am the youngest, before filming we practiced horse-riding together, ate together, so we quickly become close."

Also, she explained "When we meet at the filming set, we don't feel awkward. When we first started, there were fun scenes, so we try our best to play around and joke outside acting too. Later, we all came to treasure each other like how we treasure each other in the show so it was good."

 

 

Jinyoung revealed the behinds of filming Love in the Moonlight.

Jinyoung revealed that when he received the script for his death scene, he teared.

 

"It is a relief that Yoonseong did the things he need to do and died. I also really like Yoonseong's last few phrases. Either way, he protected the one he love right from the start till the end isn't it?"

 

He added on to say "I teared when I saw the script for that scene. It was very sad. 'It was a drawing that I have always wanted to draw, you. While drawing, it it great if I am happy' and passed on. That was really heart wrenching and sad. When he died, he deliberately held back his tears. I think that Yoonseong was caring even till the last moment."

 

 

Jinyoung showed us the desire of wanting to do well both as a singer and actor.

"I want to be attend both music and drama awards end of this year."

 

He revealed that B1A4 is currently preparing for a comeback for the end of year. When asked "Every year, both KBS Drama Award ceremony and MBC Music Award ceremony schedule clashes. If it clashes this year too, what would you do?" Jinyoung answered, "I will look at the time and even if its a quick one, I want to travel and go for both." He also added "It would be the first time I am attending a Drama award as an actor." 

 

"Since young, I dreamt of becoming a celebrity. I travelled all the way to Seoul to audition for minor roles, because my luck is good, I met my current management and debuted as a idol. In the future, I want to try variety. I wish to try everything. Be it doing good or bad, I want to try it."

After drawing a line on his own filmography, Jinyoung previewed that B1A4 will come back very soon.

Jinyoung revealed about the sense of rivalry with Park Bogum

 

On 27th, the interview with regards to "Love in the Moonlight" at WM Entertainment rooftop, when asked about the sense of rivalry with Park Bogum, Jinyoung answered, "Sure to have".

 

"No matter how different both our styles are, with our respective roles, there will still be a sense of rivalry isn't it? I have my power, the crown prince too. When both came to liking the same girl, there is no way that there will be no sense of rivalry.

 

Jinyoung also said "I try not to think of it as too difficult. This is the first time I have a rival but instead of trying to win that person, I thought it would be better to show the charms of Yoonseong."

 

 

 

Jinyoung took both worlds as he actively performed his role as B1A4 and in "Love in the Moonlight". This is thanks to sleeping less, dividing his time and leaning one twice the amount of passion.

 

Earlier, we saw that Yoonseong died while trying to save Raon in "Love in the Moonlight". With regards to that, Jinyoung revealed "Actually, I wish I woudl die. I also thought that Yoonseong was very pitiful. A little like, I want to let go easily. I thought if Yoonseong were to leave for somewhere far, he would need to take those pain and live with it, since it is not real life, so I thought it would be more comfortable to face death."

 

Thanks to all the actors, including Jinyoung, "Love in the Moonlight" was able to hit viewership ratings of 20% and enjoyed great popularity. Jinyoung said "Starting from episode, many messages were coming in. What's surprising is that even those who I haven't contacted for a long time and they are contacting to ask if I'm doing but are telling me that they are watching the show well, and I thought, there are really a lot watching.", explaining that he is feeling real about the popularity.

Jinyoung talks about ending in his part through dying in "Love in the Moonlight"

Jinyoung ended his part in "Love in the Moonlight" strongly with the death of his character. On that he said "I only got to know that I will die a few days before the episode was aired, but I was hinted about 1 month ago. So I thought I would die." He also added "Anyways, I thought it would be weird that Raon would come to me. I thought of it as doing the job that I need to do and getting buried in it. Because of some small matters, the charm of the character that Raon liked has seems to disappear by a lot. So I know that Yoonseong would either die or leave for somewhere." 

 

When asked about the filming set at that time, Jinyoung replied "It was difficult. The director said it was because it is a period drama. Because it is a period drama, we can say the things we want to say, he said the death can be take a long time and have fun. It is not to just say and die. But to understand everything and go." Especially that Jinyoung has to take into consideration that Yoonseong can't shed tears, a very Yoonseong-ish response.

 

 

 

Jinyoung revealed "I want to compose a song with Park Bogum"

Jinyoung who participated in "Love in the Moonlight" OST. On that, Jinyoung said "Firstly, I wrote the song thinking about a girl so if would not be suitable if I were to sing it. It is my wish to do an OST for the drama I appeared in. I feel that music for a drama is very important. I want to have my music in a drama, I was really curious about that. It is good that it was a good chance that my song get to be released, and that song was used on the scene I died. The feeling was weird." He also added "It is faint, but it is the first time I was not able to monitor due to the music. I had to see it one more time for the acting, and then the next time the acting and the music together."

 

Also, Jinyoung said he and Park Bogum talked a lot about music. "Bogum and I made music a lot during our rest time. The songs are really good, he said he played piano for a long time. On the topic of chemistry with Park Bogum and Kim Yoojung, Jinyoung mentioned "Outside acting, we have a lot of interests in common. We talk well. Even before we started acting, it was already fun. Since we get along well, the acting would match up too. We give each other advises, receive advises. The filming was fun. After Jinyoung produced music for IOI through Mnet Produce 101, he created topic for writing a song for them "Hold on" even in the midst of his busy schedules. About IOI, Jinyoung revealed "It feels like seeing another me. Since I also experienced this personally too. I dreamt the same dream as those girls, had the same thoughts. I find it amazing seeing what these kids do and doing well. Having the same feelings, even though I don't know a lot of things, but even if it is just one more thing, I wish to let them know."

 

Specially on "Hold on", Jinyoung said "The request for a song came in while he was shooting for teh drama, but it was fun. I think of it as a blessing. I feel that it is not right to think that a lot of work are tiring. I think it is a job that was given to me and I need to do well. I was able to divide my time well and I decided to do it."

 

 

 

The dying scene in "Love in the Moonlight" is really hard? Even as I say it, dying is really hard.

Jinyoung revealed that he liked that he was able to have a try at period drama acting through "Love in the Moonlight". "I have no idea if I fit period drama or not. However, as I did it, I had fun. I dislike normal stuffs. I want to have a life that is like a movie. Not someone who is formally introduced, but like a book that you pick up and meet as you are on the road. Also, since last time, I saw period drama and wanted to have a try at it. Thinking about how people in the past lived, I like the fantasy-like feeling. Unlike a modern day drama which leaves a faint impression, the memory feels like it has stayed in a certain place. I think the aspiration is high."

In "Love in the Moonlight", he was fighting for love of Kim Youjung with Park Bogum. However, in real life, the two guys are close. Those two has personal views on music and on that, both shared lots of words on it. They even promised to come together to compose music in the future. 

 

When asked about his chemistry with Kim Youjung whom he has a crush on in the drama, Jinyoung said that even though he is older, but Youjung has more experience in acting and thanks to her, the scenes were able to turn out nicely. "Even though she is young, but she is really trustworthy and someone whom you can lean on. Even though she can be very cute, she is mature too. Sometimes I forget about how old she is. When I ask “How should I do it so that it is good. Should I do it again?â€, she will give me a lot of opinions. There was even once that the director said it was good. No matter how I see it, she is one of those who I can ask advice from. I think I want to receive a lot of help and deliver well."

 

Especially on Jinyoung's last scene, he left the world. He left a strong impression. He revealed that the dying scene was the hardest. I also died in "Perseverance Goo Haera" but to speak all I have and die, it was hard. I do not know if I did well but I think I have a lot to learn."

On the behinds of "Foggy Road", Jinyoung revealed "I could feel the entire drama faintly when I look at the script. Even though it was soft and gentle, it was dreamlike too. After reading the script, I had various thoughts. If I were to write a song for this drama, how should I write it, Hong Raon's heart, Lee Young's heart, Kim Byeongyeon's heart etc, so I decided to write a song on how they tolerate and go through hardships. The lyrics are not exactly for anyone. I wrote the song in a way such that it can be used for anyone. It can be for Lee Young, it can be for Kim Yoonseong too."

In the drama, he died while protecting Hong Raon. "I went to the filming set to film for the scene, before that, there wasn't any fog. But on that day, the fog was so serious you can't see very well. The visibility was very short. I thought, even the heavens know that Yoonseong is leaving. If you watch the scene again, you can see that there are really a lot of fog. It was interesting."

 

I left after doing my share.

"The director and scriptwriter had a hard time thinking about Yoonseong. The Director said Yoonseong is the hardest character because the feel that he gives out changes all the time. Good and bad co-exists together, and while bearing pain on the inside, he has to be the bad guy when he needs to. Actually when I look at the words used to describe Yoonseong, I was troubled too."

After Jinyoung who protrayed the fox-like, multi-dimension character Yoonseong, it became a popular character. Eventually, the last episode when he died, the affections of the viewers exploded. It is because of the pure love of a guy who died trying to protect the girl whom he love.

"Honestly speaking, I hoped I would die. The thought of dying would be more comfortable seems weird but at the last point, he died trying to protect the one he love, he also told his grandpa the things that he wanted to say, painted the picture that he wanted to paint, I thought that it fits right."

However, there are also a number of people who think that it's a pity that Yoonseong died. Especially in the original work, Yoonseong did not died, so they questioned if Yoonseong should not have died and if its possibel for everyone to have a happy ending.

Jinyoung who is immersed in Yoonseong the character did not only made the viewers end up in tears. The opposite acting party Raon revealed through interview that she also shed tears for Yoonseong who was dying too. It was one more step to the character and Jinyoung got his confirmation for that. 

Yoojung said "I tried my best not to shed tears. Not even once has Yoonseong cried. It was a scene where Yoonseong is in a lot of pain, but there was no a hint of it like that, so I thought even if he was dying, there is no need to cry. I tried my best to smile for the death scene. Because he hates it when Raon gets hurt. I thought it was good that even till the end Yoonseong was still a caring character."

 

Jinyoung chose the most regretful moment during the filming of "Love in the Moonlight"

When asked about the most regretful thing while filming Love in the Moonlight, Jinyoung answered "It was the editing of the scenes".

"It was my first action scene and I used an umbrella for that action scene. It was raining and it was a scene where I was saving Raon from the bad guys. I really liked it" Jinyoung also added "It was raining and and we were fighting in the mud, it was my first time doing it and it was hard, but on the other hand, I had fun."

He went on to explain why it was edited out, "In the earlier part, we had too much scenes so we have to cut that out."

 

Saving the girl he likes as an ending, Jinyoung said "I thought they would think of me in the end.

Jinyoung explained about his dying scene "Even though it would be better if there were a little more contents in between but I think it fitted right into 18 episodes."

"I feel like he would die. Wouldn't it be weird if Raon suddenly likes Yoonseong?" laughing as he said. "I think there was no regret for Yoonseong as he protected the one he loved and died."

As he chatted, he expresses regrets. "I thought they would think of me in the end, like visiting my resting place but there wasn't any." and made the interview room filled with laughters. ()

He added on saying "In the drama, Yoonseong is 19 years old. When I think about it, I am a sadden. He had to live such difficult life at such a young age.", expressing affections for his character.

Jinyoung "Acting or Singing, I did everything with all my heart."

Q: Through this drama, Bogum became a "big scale actor". What does Jinyoung think about it?
A: I think he is a guy who is living a life of no regrets. I don't think I will be able to live well if I do anything and have regrets. Bogum is doing things that he want, doing the things that he want well so I think he is living well. I am also working hard to live a life of no regrets. But it is not easy.

Q: How are you together with Raon who plays your love line?
A: We get along well. Even though we are 7 years apart, she is very mature. She is passionate about the things that she do, she also has conviction. I especially learnt a lot about acting from Youjung. When acting, I would ask 'How should I do this?' and she would give be opinions. I am thankful for that.

Q: Its a situation where you have to have conflict with Bogum because of the love line with Youjung. To have those loving and antagonising expressions at the same time, it's not easy right?
A: In the drama, Raon is 18 and Yoonseong is 19. But in real life, she is really young isn't it. However, we were able to feel a love that you do in your 20s. I thought "How is possible to express such love when she is at such an age" and I thought I would be difficult. It is an uncommon love line in real life so when we first started acting, it was a little hard. I wondered how should I express this. Also, the love line conflict with Lee Young, the conflict for the throne. It is a very complicated emotion. While Yoonseong has regrets for the throne, with regards to the girl he loves, I think it is fine as long as he doesn't push Raon to Lee Young. So I thought when confronting the opposite party, I cannot lose, so I try to express that.

Q: In the drama, you eventually pushed your loved one to Lee Young. If it was Jinyoung, what would you do?
A: I think I will give up. In real life, if I did everything I could, I would give up. Also, in the drama, Yoonseong stood and watch for a long period of time, in real life, I would not do it. If I have someone I like, I would watch for a while and confess. It is because I will regret if I miss it.

Q: You even took death for your loved one. Are you that kind of person in real life?
A: I would have to think about it again. It is not an easy thing to do. Such things are possible because it is in the drama.

Q: After trying Love in the Moonlight, do you have any thoughts of trying a traditional period drama?
A: I would like to try it. Actually, I really like period dramas. It is an era that I cannot live in and it has its charms. It feels like fantasy. I feel empty after the broadcast ended. I want to try living in that period.

Q: Though you are acting, you are still B1A4's Jinyoung. Fans are waiting for a comeback, when will the comeback be?
A: We will comeback this year no matter what. We are continuously recording, having meetings. Fans also waited very long, we feel like we need to show something. We want to come back quickly for those who have been waiting.

Q: Through Love in the Moonlight, we saw a successful Jinyoung. What are your plans for the future?
A: If chances come, I want to continue acting. Even though it is not easy to do both acting and singing but I will try my best. I will try my best to become a Jinyoung who gives my all.

 

You opened up a second part through KBS Love in the Moonlight. The one who acted as Yoonseong is B1A4's Jinyoung.
I find it amazing. The comments runs fast and the people around me are contacting me a lot. I think it turned out well.

I've learnt a lot of things and came to know about the things I don't know. If I were to start another production, I will try my best to make use of the things that I have experienced this time round.

 

B1A4 has quite a bit of members who can act.

They are distinguishing themselves through their individual activities. That's why we monitor each other a lot too. We really do a lot of it. They occasionally will copy and follow my mushy scripts. Even though they are joking, I am thankful, really thankful. Because they are watching over what I am doing isn't it. When other members appear (on tv) I also will take a picture and send it to them.

 

The actors that act together gave me strength like the members.

It is fun to be around with friends. We get along well since our age are similar, we have similar interests and talk about similar stuff. So I think the synergy kind of shows.

 

Jinyoung has something that is more than enough in the drama. The mushy lines. 100% close.

At first I was worried. These are lines that can't be used in real life, how do I make it not cringy. I think it is important that I try my best to make it display it simply.

Kim Yoon Sung in KBS ‘Moonlight Drawn By Clouds’ is born into a rich family. He didn’t have much interest in others’ life before. Then he got interested in a woman. He has lived a lonely life. He couldn’t even draw things that he wanted. But he fell in love with Hong Ra On. He even sacrificed his life for her.

It’s not surprising that a member from an idol group plays a role in a drama. Jinyoung who made debut as B1A4 also have made appearance in many works. But it’s different in ‘Moonlight Drawn By Clouds’ which got much public attention. He became a ‘real’ actor.

Jinyoung played the role of Kim Yoon Sung, a handsome and lonely character, perfectly. We cannot imagine Kim Yoon Sung without Jinyoung.

Q. Kim Yoon Sung died in ‘Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.’
Jinyoung: The day I died (laughter), the sky was really foggy. Maybe the god also felt unfortunate about Yoonsung’s death. It felt sad due to fog. There was a line saying ‘a painting that I always wanted to draw.’ It filled my eyes with tears.

Q. Some were disappointed at your sudden death.
Jinyoung: I would have been better to include more stories, but I think it was appropriate considering the drama had 18 episodes. I’m satisfied. Jinyoung: I really wanted to do Korean traditional drama, but I was worried. It felt awkward to do hair like that of a man from Joseon dynasty and acting was difficult. But the director said that he watched Mnet’s ‘Produce 101’ in which I made appearance. He said that I just need to remember the generous attitude that I showed to the singers of the show when I act with Raon. I got confidence from his words.

Q. The fighting scene with swords was outstanding.
Jinyoung: There is a secret story behind the scene. There was a scene that’s not included in the drama. I fought with gangs using an umbrella to protect Raon. It was rainy, so the ground was muddy. But the scene was deleted. I practiced fighting with an umbrella for a month. Then in the 12th episode, I had the sword scene. I only knew how to fight with an umbrella. (Laughter) But it was fun. I asked the director to send me the video of the umbrella scene. I will just keep it to myself. Maybe I might post it on Instagram.

Q. I heard that you had good chemistry with other young actors.
Jinyoung: Of course it is important to have positive chemistry with other actors while acting, but it is also important to have chemistry in person. Everyone was kind to me. I was older than them, but I thought I had a lot to learn from them. We became friends, and this had positive impact on acting. In particular, I became close to Park Bo Gum and Kwak Dong Yeon because they liked music. Bogum played piano using composing application, and he was good at it. On May 14, the show’s production team explained, “Jinyoung will appear as an agency senior of the seven members in the drama ‘Let’s Walk the Flower Road,’ written by the members of ‘Idol Drama Operation Team.'â€
