I watched Miss Granny for the second time, and boy, I can't wait until his next drama comes out. He's going to be working with Henry from Super Junior, and I hope they can become friends. They both play the guitar and they both compose and they're both dorky-ish cute. ^^

like the difference between Bling Girl and Love Then is literally such a GAP it's at least the grand canyon. The lyrics aren't even what makes the difference to me - in actuality I wish Jinyoung would just stop using English, or use it more thoughtfully at least or hire me to check it... I still can't deal with his Solo Day lyrics sometimes bc as a native English speaker I still have no idea what 'getting new round' means and almost ALMOST wish he'd go back to living in 2002

i think lyrically he overall sticks to the same themes (partying/broken hearts/cheating lol) and he needs to move on a bit from the girl who threw out his chocolate covered bread in high school tbh the funky english makes the songs endearing at times and its not as cringeworthy pronunciation wise as SuJus (haiiilaiieeeteuuu....kyuhyun.... )

I like a lot of the early songs tbh, they're still good to listen to even if there's technically better compositions now. I really love What's Happening tho, it's one of my favorite title tracks. I would like a quirky song like that again ;(

TBH the only one of his songs I really don't like is Bling Girl lmao. I also am not a fan of Pretty but that's more so due to the lyrical content than the production (I think its a less good version of So Fine lol). What's Happening is what got me into B1A4 and maybe that's why I'm really biased to it, but I just remember hearing it at Dream Concert 2013 and falling in love with it - no song has ever impacted me that quickly before. I prefer quirky B1A4 so much over 'srs bsns' B1A4 - the only concept I think did a good job combining the two was Baby I'm Sorry since the concept was a bit darker but the song was still a bit quirky and really their style. 

 

I get that they got a lot of fans during Lonely but it's one of their least...B1A4 like title songs. tbh  I honestly get a bit upset when newer fans (who got into them during Lonely tbh) say they don't like B1A4's older music (which to me is 2011+12) since that's honestly the core of who the group is and why they got successful, bc they stood out in the sea of srs bsns boy groups. I hope their next comeback they go back to their roots a little bit!

quirky is just them tbh, Solo Day was kind of there but not totally, but it was still unique overall so that's a good sign.

 

I know what you mean, I really like Lonely but it was a big change conceptually. I'm anticipating what direction they're going to take next but since it's going to be late summer/autumn I have a feeling it'll be some mid-tempo song which likely means a ~mature concept but maybe they'll surprise me and I'll take anything at this point I'm kinda desperate.
