However, some programs fuck you with a BBC a bit deeper than others, LIKE MY PROGRAM. My program has an avg of 2.2 GPA, and only requires a 3.0 GPA for a master's app. We have the highest student retention rate in the uni, cuz we keep people on probation for like 2 years. I mean, how can a program with 165 students total have 48% students on probation (cuz they all keep failing classes)? THEY ADDED A FOURTH YEAR TO MY PROGRAM (OF ONLY LIT CLASSES, TO BOOT) TO MAKE IT FIT WITH THE EDUCATION DEPT'S REQUIREMENTS AND THEY REJECTED US AND THE LIT. My GPA always stayed up, always on Dean's list. Graduated with honors. But it sucks that the standards in your school are so high. That's crazy. If I get below a C in my major, I have to retake the classes when they're offered again (if I fail a Fall class, I have to wait until next Fall). Then I have a earn at least a B when I retake it.
