xXXXXXx 1,252
i understand that all of you are not as radical as the few but as the fandom grows, so will the amount of crazies. on one hand, the fandom as a whole has certainly proven their dedication by making a rookie one of the top sellers of the year. on the other hand, theres the few who seem to be giving exo fans a bad rep. do think think the bad, IN THE LONG RUN, will grow to a point where it'll cripple the success of the group [whether it be decrease in the mental and emotional condition of the members, venues not wanting to deal with the extreme fans, etc.]? im just curious as to what the fans think about all this. please, discuss. Timo 76
As crazy as the fans are, they will continue to spend all their (parent's) money on them so I think that's enough incentive for them to stay together. They are an SM group, so the members will just have to force themselves to endure the crazy ass stans and their often embarrassing, obnoxious and rude behaviour. Even if venues refuse them, all they need is a photobook and some $$$$$ limited editions and etc. Fans will buy.
soshi.mp3 1,621
i think there is a limit for all kpop fandoms they can never get as crazy as directioners or beliebers tbh.
김민주 16,324
You are thinking too much. This. To non-kpop fans, all Kpop fans are usually viewed in the same light. Pretty sure people don't say "Wow those exo fans are cray!" Or Wow those xxx fans are crazy!" It's usually just "Wow idol groups fans are a bunch of obsessed pricks" and yet idol groups still do well so...

His Majesty Robosexual 446
Doubt it. Only way for a group to be destroyed is by contract termination or death.
~ PD Hercule Poirot ~ 1,868
I became an Exo fan despite the crazies so I doubt it'll affect the group. Fandom never rules much.
bromiscuous 1,178
I understand quite a few of us are crazy (some in a funny kind of way) but i don't think our crazies outweigh any other fandom. ofc we probably spazz harder than most. But if you look at the fan scandals i can only think of a few (the china airport bumrush springs to mind) and many other fandoms have had much worse scandals (black oceans etc) and their bias groups are still incredibly successful. flee 1,954
i don't understand why people care about fans that fucking much lmao why? people say stuff like 'i hate them because of their fans' or 'their fans ruin the group for me', what do the fans have to do with the group and the music they put out or their personalities? like that's a lame ass excuse. silicon soul 19,457
No. Put it this way, when SNSD started out they had 2 of the biggest fandoms ever against them. Yet SNSD never broke or received a bad rep themselves (there may have rumours/exaggerations/antis about the girls but nothing that would destroy their careers). If SNSD could survive through that, I'm certain Exo's OWN fandom won't tarnish exo themselves.

lolski 841
I dont think the fans can ruin their career but I'm sure that one day some EXO members will be tired of the saessangs and slap the hell out of them and probably have a worse jyj scandal
Perfect Chaos 300
if fans could destroy their groups, DB5K would never have been as popular as they were. damn some Cassies back then were crazy pants

This. I see it as a mere excuse tbh. Plus it's not like only EXO fans are crazy. Many famous idols' fans who debuted before them are crazy as well, yet they still succeed. I can give out many examples of that.

sicasso 704
I dont think so. Cassies were crazier but they arent the reason why DBSK disband.
Leia Greenleaf 330
If a huge fandom with a certain amount of crazies could destroy a group, TVXQ, Big Bang and SuJu would not survive. And believe me, EXO fans are little harmless angels in comparison to Cassiopea in it's glory days.

wohuifei 263
If there's any reason why the fans would destroy the group, it'd be because the members are tired of being groped, injured, scared shitty, annoyed, and followed by their fans (*I'm looking at you, crazy Chinese fans*). EXO's not very experienced in hiding their emotions, so in fancams, when the members are injured or encounter any of the above events, you'll see some members looking pissed or being scared shitless and such. And Tao, with his post about the fans in the hotel, was pretty obvious about his dislike and such. So if anything by fans causes their breakup, it would be because there would be some members who wouldn't be able to take the invasion anymore when all they wanted to do was to sing/dance/perform. s4a 13,715
Tbh, if H.O.T (the gold standard of insane fans) and DBSK survived, then I don't think EXO will have any issues.
sweetjohoney 2,980
Doubtful that the fans would be the fall of the group. Some of the larger groups have far more extreme fans and they've stuck it out.
