Can I just say that I'm feeling so Proud right now, KangJoon has never failed in amazing me with his Acting, He has always been a hard-working Actor, always putting up everything he got into the Characters he's playing, you can see the Potential he got just as a Viewer, you can clearly see how much Love he devotes to his Job as an Actor just by watching his Interviews, He's always rooting for showing us and so the Public a new side of him, that's why He chose to go for Various kind of Dramas and so Characters rather than sticking to a specific Role or smth as most Actors do, I've watched all the Dramas he released so far, I saw him improving by each Drama, each Character, but lemme talk here abt 'Hwajung', that master-piece Drama that has completely changed my perspective towards KangJoon, in less than 3 episodes, He has convinced me that ( Hong Joo Won ) is his Best Character out of all the Characters he played so far .. Guess he's one of those Actors whom are born to do SaGeuks, His mesmerizing eyes tho, I've always been admiring his beautiful eyes, the way he uses 'em for the sake of his acting, his eye-expressions are srsly the Best, His gazes are on Point, seeing him all Angry and Mad and with those mesmerizing sharp eyes while playing JooWon has hit me like, I had to rewind lots' of scenes, 'specially his bcs DAMN the Boy has improved more than I even expected, or maybe I'm the one who didn't realize the fact he could do better in SaGeuks and Melos rather than Rom~Coms since his crying scenes are always on point T^T 

 

In brief, KangJoon should stick to SaGeuks & Melos, Rom-Coms aren't his cup of tea, nor me xD .. Rom-Coms are kind of boring I can tell, I wish he could be casted in a Melo once he ends filming 'Hwajung' .. Praying he got the Public Recognition he deserves due to Hwajung /Crossed Fingers/ .. 

 

Please K-Netizens, just show some LOVE & RECOGNITION to this kid over here, he has a bright future ahead of him so don't ruin it by throwing harsh comments towards him, Just learn how to appreciate .. The Kid got emotions after'll, he's human, such things will affect him T.T

I’m an introvert but as I get close with people, I’m very playful. I can’t approach people well but when I see someone and want to be friends, I do my best.

 

Don’t you get stressed? I see a lot of rookie actors and idols who bow and say hello in a big voice.

 

That’s right. I think when you are a rookie, there is a special kind of custom. You need to be outgoing and approach people first but there are times I can’t do that well because as a shy and awkward person, I fear they will see me as fake ( Well, He is so awkward I assure you, that's a fact .. but when he's with 5URPRISE, he'd be playful and act all Dork and so, He's not that outgoing and he's so shy ) 

 

Still, your acting skills were great and there were a lot around me who loved your character. Maybe you’re a genius in acting?

 

No, a lot of the 5urprise members are skilled. They would be able to achieve a lot. But not me. I can’t improvise and just go for it. I have to study in advance and I like to analyze my character before starting work ( ever since his debut, he always claimed that He's not the most-skilled one in 5urprise and he kept saying that and re-saying it during each Interview, he claimed before that TaeHwan is better than him as an Actor (and yess I approve) when people were comparing both of 'em, you might not know abt this issue but there was a time when ppl thought KangJoon & TaeHwan were competing each other, Duh like srsly duh they're friends, more like Brothers, why would they even -_- .. KangJoon then stated everything by saying: ' 5URPRISE IS A FAMILY ' ) 

 

Maybe you don’t like to sit still. I heard you watched about thousands of movies until you were 20. Then how many movies did you watch every month?

 

I watched those thousands of movies in about four to five years. To do that, you need to watch movies every day for three years. So for me, I watched movies every day for four to five years. I watched one to two movies every night before going to bed. Sometimes I dozed off to sleep while watching them…

 

The movies must have helped you a lot.

 

You’re right. They helped me without me knowing. When I receive a script and feel like I’m not skilled enough, I think about some of the scenes from the movies I watched.

 

Can you pick one particular movie you like the most out of the thousand?

 

I think the one that I remember the most is â€œEternal Sunshine.†The scenes’ colors, emotions, and visuals were just fascinating. I liked that the ending was shown from the beginning.

 

Usually, you can sense a person’s personality depending on what kind of movie that person likes. If you liked a girl, what kind of movie would you want her to like?

 

A classic movie, like â€œWaterloo Bridge.†I would think to myself, “That person really is interested in movies!â€
