Hi, it feels like just yesterday we debuted ,but it has been 2 years already and this is a new side of Kangjoon.

Have you been doing well?

I have been at Hwajung drama filming set recently.

Trough many worries , trials and errors that I have experienced, I do learned a lot from the seniors and colleagues.

So looking at me like this, always making efforts, I want to be an actor who fans could give faith to and I’m looking forward to it.

Finally it has been 5urprise’s 2^nd anniversary. It feels like just yesterday we have debuted but it has been 2 years already. It amazed me.

Thanks to 2^nd Anniversary debut, 5urprise’s Japanese debut album has announced. Other than preparing for acting and shooting in the spare times, we could show other images of us and it makes us excited and looking forward to it. I would like to thank the members who are always having a same mind since 2 years ago to make efforts and show greater images and the fans who love and support us since the beginning.

Hello. This is the second thread that I post to, here on OH. I just wanna say that I am really proud of Kang Joon and 5urprise. They achieved a lot in such a short time. It's funny how some people keep calling them flop without realizing/knowing the real point why the group exists in the first place. They're 'actor-singers'. They're singing to entertain their fans who enjoy their acting. Basically, they are five Lee Min Ho.

5urprise is an easy money for their company, Fantagio. Fantagio doesn't have to invest any money for music shows and stuff. Yet, when they did a fan meeting or concerts. Thousands of fans will go. Kang Tae Oh has a name in Vietnam, Lee Tae Hwan is breaking the China Market, Yoo Il are active on musicals, and Kang Joon is famous in Korea and even internationally. Only Myung is yet to make his breakthrough, that been said, he's still active on the drama scene and they all have all the time in the world to achieve more. They're so young, yet talented and good-looking.

and now.. They are honoring their Japanese fans with a Japanese-debut. Congratulations 5urprise! Fighting! We love you guys!

 

U literally spoke my mind, Glad someone realized how great the Boys are doing, I'm getting fed up with all these people calling them Flop, Nugus, etc when 5URPRISE is supposed to be an Acting group, aka they won't get to make it unless they get Hit dramas unlike Idols .. and so far they're doing so well, no words for KangJoon since he really achieved quite lots' in such a short period, I staned him back then during his debut days and he was literally a Nugu, he was getting a bit of attention by Pann fangirls (due to his looks) but that's it, nowadays he's one of the most rising Rookie Actors in Korea, not to mention he got the nickname of the Nation's young Boyfriend .. TaeHwan got a great exposure through 'Pride&Prejudice', he only needs 2 other proper dramas and he'll reach KJ's popularity level, Kdrama loverz already label him as a Good Actor, he got the chops, his acting is that good imho .. TaeOh's Popularity in Vietnam is NO JOKE, I got the receipts .. Myung got attention due to his role in 'Hwajung' he even over-shadowed KangJoon there, he should get a Drama asap to boost his recognition .. YooIl should get a Solo Album tbh, his talent is being wasted, anyways he got a drama hoping that he'll get some attention ;; 

 

that being said, even as a hardcore fan of the Guys, I don't think they're a #flop as what people are claiming, they're far from being a flop, and they're definitely not 'KangJoon and the kids' They'll make it, sooner or later, but unlike Idol-groups It'll take 'em longer to make it, they just need the right projects since acting-wise they're good ;;;

Last year, he won the 'Best Rookie Actor' Award, technically It took him one year to get the 'Best Rookie Actor' and 2 years to get the 'Hot Star' Award, I'm so happy for him, as well as Proud ;__; This year was such a tough one for KangJoon, was full of Ups & Downs, he himself admit that he has suffered much this year, receiving such an Award is surely a heartwarming gift for him, as credits for his hard work, rather than an Award I see it as a source of motivation for KangJoon ... Best of Luck Joon~ah, hopefully you'd get to win another meaningful Award next year as well ;;

I thought his character is supposed to be blonde though? I guess they just settled for light brown instead lol. 

 

Yess he's actually supposed to be blonde, I was kind of disappointed bcs they didn't bleach his hair to match InHo Character, but again It'd end up looking un-natural on KangJoon gotta admit, y'know his hair in 'ASLON' was a legit #Mess imho .. 

 

although I wanted 'em to dye it that color, It does suit him ;__;
