Seo Kang Joon in final negotiation stage for Baek In Ho Role in 'Cheese in the trap' 

 

 

 

Just earlier today, five actors were confirmed for the upcoming webtoon based tvN drama “Cheese in the Trap.†Still, there was no one for the role of Baek In Ho, who plays a major role in the webtoon. Now we finally have news that actor Seo Kang Joon is in final talks for the role, close to clinching the deal.

 

Baek In Ho is what one would call a second male lead, fighting for the affection of the female lead character Hong Seol (played by Kim Go Eun). Park Hae Jinplays the role of Yoo Jung, the first male lead. Baek In Ho is a troubled young male, once regarded as a piano prodigy. He has a tough and rebellious attitude, and makes heads turn with his strong and unique look.

Seo Kang Joon is currently appearing in the MBC drama “Hwajung.â€

 

“Cheese in the Trap†is expected to premiere in December on tvN.

 

 

I wonder if they're going to bleach his hair ( again ) for the sake of the role, hopefully It won't be the case

Well, I didn't see that coming tho, InHo's character is quite rough, and portraying Its character is pretty hard, KangJoon looks rather delicate and fragile, the fans of the manhwa are already not pleased with the choice of the actors, I don't blame 'em tho, InHo, even tho he's not the main lead in the webtoon but His character is the most important there, so choosing the right actor is a MUST for the PDs, yet the Lead is ( Park Hae Jin ) and considering how experienced that Actor is, how good and skilled he is ( he's one of my fav. Actors ), I'm afraid KangJoon would be over-shadowed (well, most-likely), not to mention the age gap between KangJoon & HaeJin which is technically 10 years, meanwhile InHo is supposed to be older than Yuu Jeong (the character played by HaeJin) *cringes*, however, age-wise, KangJoon looks pretty mature for his age, in terms of acting, I really hope KangJoon step up his game, if he could act this time with the same pace he did in 'The Suspicious Housekeeper' then he'd be safe, and his acting will come out decent, he did well in 'CSL' & 'HM' & 'WWTF' as well, but since he did poorly in 'Hwajung' ( and yess he disappointed me there ) so Idk what to expect, tbh I don't blame him but blame Fantagio (his company) instead, the kid was so stressed, over-stressed I must say, once he finished filming 'CSL' he got into 'WWTF' which was a 50 episodes Drama then right after he got casted in 'Hwajung' ( another 50 episodes ) without taking enough rest, like even Machines have to rest to but KangJoon, well he never rest .. 

 

Aside from that, KangJoon won't have enough time to prepare for his role in 'Cheese in the trap' since he'd be filming 'Hwajung' ( as well ) at that time, and ofc he won't be able to adjust two roles at once THAT'S GREAT . AWESOME . U FUCKED UP WELL FANTAGIO 

imho, KangJoon should drop this drama, whether he made it through an audition or not, he should rest, 2 months is more than enough, clear his mind, have a good time, erase all the stress he went through lately, and then re-judge his acting by himself, notice his flaws, try to improve himself as an Actor, try to get rid of the awkwardness he sometimes show on screen, only then he can pick a project, a good one. 

 

For the time being, obviously It's too late for that, he'd definitely take such an opportunity and accept the role, hopefully, hopefully he'd nail it, and pull it off well *Crossed fingers* bcs lately Idk but I feel like his acting keeps dropping, downgrading, and that's all due to the stress he's living each day, ngl but I'm not having enough faith in him, Idk maybe the negative comments are influencing me, or perhaps I myself can't trust his acting anymore, the mere reason I staned him back then was HIS ACTING, if he keeps on acting like a clueless, then he can deliver his Luck to his group-mates, who truly deserve to shine~

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! The role honestly sounds like it was written just for him tbh.... piano prodigy and everything lmao. If he accepts it, hopefully he does his best since it's a highly anticipated role. Although, I agree I'm worried about him being over-worked and how he'd even manage to juggle it all. I think they might reject it on that basis, but at the same time the role is so huge that I'm skeptical that Fantiago would dare let it go like that lol. 

 

Fantagio rejecting a role? for KangJoon's sake? that never happened and would never happen, It's a huge opportunity for Fantagio, since they're trying to benefit from him as much as they can ~~ 

 

After thinking abt it, the role does suit KangJoon ngl, but yeh Haterz gonna hate ..

I believe Seo Kang Joon is gay. Something about him just screams gay to me. Even around cute boys he behaves.... differently- it seems like he pays more attention & acting all sweet. Those girls who find him attractive physically before they get to know him & when they actually get to really know him, they paid him dust. Him having feminine gestures at times is also an extra hint. The whole ordeal between him and Minwoo, that wasn't subtle at all . Also his instagram (even Minwoo's Instagram)  - his posts mostly contain selfies of him with attractive boys.  I see you, Kang Joon sis. 

 

Well, I won't say He's Gay, nor that he's straight, simply bcs I'm only a fan .. 

 

But I believe he's straight, I've been his fan for so long, watched every stuff he was on, read plenty of interviews and stuff, okay I'll try to convince you xd, he always blushes when he's surrounded by girls, his ears turn red whenever a girl would approach him, his Ideal Type is Suzy, he's a true fanboy of hers, he fell for Kyungri so bad during 'Match made in Heaven Returns', the attractive boys he take selcas with are either his group-mates, or label-mates, I don't see anything Gay abt his Selcas tbh, It's just a random typical selca with some of his friends, considering that 5URPRISE are so close, and they live together in one dorm, so they always take selcas together, brotherhood relationship ..

 

As for feminine gestures, umm as what exactly? the way he seats? eats? Idk but I've never seen him acting feminine, at least for now lol ..

 

He's sweet, that's his true self, he's so kind-hearted, non-fans can't see that side abt him, they only see him as a Charismatic Guy, that's all, but once you get to know him, you'd know how sweet he is, caring he is, well-mannered he is, how hard-working he is, he cherishes his group 5URPRISE more than anything else, he always works hard for the sake of his team, And .. His mind is empty xd tho I think he's pretty smart, It feels like he's acting blank, but he isn't, that's only an image he made for himself I believe, but yeh I admit he sometimes looks so dumb, he got that side as well, which I love, and find adorable *w*

 

Overall, ima sticking with him being straight, but we never know, he's living with 4 attractive specimen males Y'know
