Hello. This is the second thread that I post to, here on OH. I just wanna say that I am really proud of Kang Joon and 5urprise. They achieved a lot in such a short time. It's funny how some people keep calling them flop without realizing/knowing the real point why the group exists in the first place. They're 'actor-singers'. They're singing to entertain their fans who enjoy their acting. Basically, they are five Lee Min Ho.

5urprise is an easy money for their company, Fantagio. Fantagio doesn't have to invest any money for music shows and stuff. Yet, when they did a fan meeting or concerts. Thousands of fans will go. Kang Tae Oh has a name in Vietnam, Lee Tae Hwan is breaking the China Market, Yoo Il are active on musicals, and Kang Joon is famous in Korea and even internationally. Only Myung is yet to make his breakthrough, that been said, he's still active on the drama scene and they all have all the time in the world to achieve more. They're so young, yet talented and good-looking.

and now.. They are honoring their Japanese fans with a Japanese-debut. Congratulations 5urprise! Fighting! We love you guys!

this is just a random thought.. but...

 

 

 

JOON DATED NARA !!! How did I came up with it? You see Joon followed everyone in HV. but not Nara. and Nara didn't follow Joon as well. Technically she didn't follow all 5urprise member. Usually when u broke up with someone.. U didn't really want a reminder of it. and it's kinda odd if she follow all members except Joon. When Joon was a fresh rookie he openly declared on his sns that he has a gf and that she was an idol! idk if he was drunk or something at tht time. but he did. luckily.. that issue died down.. You see.. Nara is sooo Joon's taste. they could've hooked up starting from HV 'would you stay for tea' MV or long before that. This is just a theory, a random thought of mine tho. xD and if there's a chance it is true.. it's all in the past..

I did notice that they didn't follow each other on IG but I thought that Nara isn't that close to KangJoon, however she didn't follow OT4 as well when they actually worked together in ASLON, sounds pretty suspicious isn't it..

but again I doubt they dated, like I'm 75% sure that he dated one of HelloVenus' members, but It just can't be Nara imo, I honestly think It was YooAra, there were several rumors between k-fans claiming so, and the fact he posted that '' useless '' statement on his SNS just made the issue blow up even bigger, personally I think It was YooAra, but again It might be Nara since y'know, they didn't follow each other on IG and that seems so goddamn fishy to me..

if u actually type KangJoon's name in Korean in Google's search box, YooAra's name will be one of the very first words to come out, mainly due to the huge amount of rumors that were going around back then....

 

 

on the other hand, Ara followed KangJoon on IG but I guess she unfollowed him, I just checked and yeh she did, they had some IG interactions as well, she even called him Sexy hehe~~ so I'm kinda confused lel

 

Overall, he dated a Helbi's member, he surely did ;;;

 

 

 

 

 

 

yasss Joon and Ara sounds legit as well. but judging by their level of interactions. That's not how ex's acts. I'm really experienced in failed relationships(no, I'm not proud of it T T) so the conclusion is.. HE STILL DATES ARA. or.. they're just best friends after all. and now Nara. she's actually the real mystery. What happened between you and Joon, bae?? I'm so curious

Joon has been getting good reviews so far. Lots of people has been falling for him. Haha #TeamInHo ;) second lead syndrome ftw

People doubted Joon when it was announced that he will be Baek In Ho, but I was the opposite of that. I never doubted him for a second. I was really happy because I just knew he'll match Baek In Ho well.. and I trust that he'll work hard for it. And he did! :')

 

He has proven that there's nothing wrong with his acting and shut a lot of mouth for now...

Now it's up to the writer whether she wants to give In ho wings to fly, or bury him 6 feet under. I'm hoping for the wings of course. He doesn't have to get the girl. He just have to remain likeable and memorable as in these few episodes. I'm sure Joon's career will soar into the sky after this. This is the best role he's ever got so far. I'm sl happy I'm right

This is a great time to be alive for a Kangjun stan lol.

 

Also, I haven't read the webtoon, but does anyone else kinda want her to end up with Baek In Ho? I like both of the male leads, but I feel like she's more human when she's with In Ho. So, for now, I kinda prefer her with In Ho.

A LOT of people want her to end up with In Ho tbh. Jung will get weirder in the future. and there's no telling who will Sul end up with even at this far in the manhwa. Maybe the drama writer will change few things after this.

i was just watching Happy Together and its my first time seeing him, and im in love! he's so beautiful....i don't watch dramas so i had never heard of him before...maybe i will now

Oh, I'm gonna recommend you some.

You can start with After School Bokbulbok/Lucky or Not - most people rates it as the best web drama in Korea.

Cunning Single Lady. where he started to be called Noonas Killer.

And the best role of him yet is in currently airing Cheese In The Trap. He plays a good hearted and hardworking bum with a rude attitude.

To Be Continued(webdrama) Short and entertaining webdrama. KangJoon was really funny in it.

Thanks for the drama recommendation! I think I really fell for him.. His Inho is so sweet and sad that most people will like.

I saw some interviews and variety shows, the real Seo Kangjoon is quite different than Inho, and that is how I think he's a good actor, having to act as someone different than yourself (or different from how people see you) and nail it is a certain achievement and I can say he's a good actor.

 

I have watched the Entertainment Weekly KBS about him as a star that will shine in 2015. I saw a sweet cute young man there.. I'm thinking is there any interviews / reality show / variety that showcase the real cute him like this? He looks like a cute young man there, ehehe, his image is always that mature. (Roommate is already on my list) I've watched Running Man and Happy Together too

Exactly! Inho and Seo Kang Joon are two different person. The differences are really clear. And that is was we call acting !

If he's just being himself, where's the challenge? where's the acting?

That's why when some people are making a fuss when he was casted as In Ho. I was mad. I think it was silly. Did they think Kang Joon was gonna show up on the set as himself?? He's an actor! when the camera rolls he can be a completely different person. It doesn't matter who he is behind the camera.

Well, now.. He sure did shut a lot of mouth. So I'm satisfied.

I think they made a fuss bc they see Kangjoon as those calm, well reserved characters that he played previously.

Which, again, proofing that Kangjoon nailed his characters that it made people see those charas as him. And so, there's this assumption, that calm Kangjoon can't portray crazy, hot tempered Inho, ugh, nope he does it so well... and well, now we have more Second Lead Syndromes going around lol.

 

Ohhhh, I can't wait for his next project, I mean, with this rate of success, Kangjoon surely will get more recognition. Gogo Kangjoon!

Joon's Law of The Jungle will be changing location from East Timor to Tonga because of recent bombing in Jakarta(East Timor are close to Jakarta, Indonesia). I guess they don't wanna take any chances. Doesn't matter where is it. As long as there is Kang Joon, I'm sure as hell will watch it.

I'm worried about him doing this variety show. Will he be alright?? There will be lots of bugs. And please Kang joon, don't loose some weight!

 

Jokes aside, I'm really glad he (fantagio?) declined the offer for the drama "Monster" and though I like to see him on variety shows (because I never get tired of watching him) I wish he won't appear often on those.

He's a good actor and he prove it with CITT, so I wish he can do what he likes and where he can really shine, that is in movies/dramas.

I'm sure he doesn't like it that much to be on variety shows, plus they always ask him to do ridiculous things like dancing when everyone know he can only do his 5urprise dance moves but he can't dance, same goes for singing.

 

I hope while he'll be away doing this LOTJ, he'll get a really good offer in a movie and please, let him be the lead this time. I want to see him challenging himself and shine even more.

 

 

 

He seems to be happy (or want us to think so). At least he'll be able to see amazing views there.
