1. Lee Seung Gi's "Because You're My Woman" (2004)
The #1 karaoke song for older woman/younger man couples. This song shot Lee Seung Gi to top star fame in just his debut.

2. Jang Yoon Jung's "Omona" (2004)
The song took off thanks to Jang Yoon Jung's unique vocal characteristics. It was also the first time in 12 years that a trot song won #1 on a public broadcast music show since Kim Soo Hee in 1993.

3. SG Wannabe's "To Live" (2005)
The group is known for having the most hit tracks in the digital music market. The album sold 400,000 copies and went on to win Daesang at the 'Golden Disk' that year.

4. Baek Jiyoung's "I Won't Love" (2006)
Successfully pulled off her transformation from a dance singer to a ballad singer with the mega hit of this song. For the first time in six years, she won #1 on public broadcast and was also named the #1 favorite karaoke song of the year.

5. Big Bang's "Lies" (2007)
The group's representative song as one of the industry's best male groups. It was also chosen by 'M! Countdown' as the song that stood out the most in the past decade.

6. Wonder Girls' "Tell Me" (2007)
The legendary 'Tell Me' syndrome brought on parodies from soldiers, police, teachers, and every walk of life in society. Put the entire nation in retro fever.

7. SNSD's "Gee" (2009)
The song that put wings on SNSD. Won #1 for 9 weeks in a row on the Mnet chart and was at the top for 7 consecutive weeks. Also broke records set by Baek Jiyoung's "Like Being Hit by a Bullet" and Big Bang's "Haru Haru".

8. IU's "Good Day" (2010)
The song that propelled IU to become the nation's little sister. The 'three high notes' still remain as her trademark.

9. Psy's "Gangnam Style" (2012)
The song that not only shook up Korea but the entire world. Stood at #2 on the Billboard singles chart for 7 consecutive weeks and took #1 on the UK singles chart. The music video also recorded the most views on YouTube.

10. Busker Busker's "Cherry Blossom Ending" (2012)
Took the entire nation by storm with their cherry blossom-themed song that manages to climb back into the charts every spring. It is now an unforgettable 'seasonal' song.

-

1. [+114, -2] It's almost time for 'Cherry Blossom Zombie' to come back from the dead again

2. [+94, -15] Normally songs drop off the charts down into the 1,000th ranks after a year or a year and half of being released but Big Bang's "Lies" is still ranked 400th nearly 10 years later ã…‹ã…‹

3. [+87, -15] Agree with the list... as a Big Bang fan, "Lies" is a song that is still great to listen to today and is so public friendly considering Big Bang's a hip hop centered group. The other songs on the list are right too... "Tell Me" and "Gee" are representative hook songs and Psy even advanced into America with "Gangnam Style"..

4. [+38, -6] "Tell Me" and "Lies" are definitely mega hits out of the idols

5. [+28, -1] Love "Lies"... It doesn't sound out of style at all no matter how many years pass, I actually think it sounds better than current songs.

6. [+27, -1] "Lies" and "Tell Me" were certainly amazing back in the day ã…‹ Everyone loved "Lies" and I'm sure everyone also danced to "Tell Me" at least once in their lives ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

7. [+17, -3] I still remember all those 'three high note' parodies ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

8. [+15, -0] List seems accurate

It's a good list.

But I personally think Haru Haru > Lies and Nobody > Tell Me. But I guess Lies and Tell Me were the songs that started BB and WG's dominance while Haru Haru and Nobody solidified it.

I agree but I'd just like to add that So Hot >

The Busker Busker reign will never end. Even after the group's existence.  :datass:

And SG Wannabe seriously ruled. <333

It's amazing how i-fans regard Nobody more than Tell Me....but in Korea, it's all about Tell Me. lol

so where are those elfs who tried it with saying sorry sorry was the most influential boy group song?

It is one of the most influential songs. What was influential internationally and what was influential in Korea alone are apparently different cuz Nobody wasn't included either, or Mirotic

This. Lies one of the few old kpop songs that I listen on repeat and it doesn't get annoying after 10000th listening. Same with Haru Haru, but their new songs  :imstupid:
