The response is very volatile at the moment, almost like SNSD's next 'make or break' Korean album. With all the credentials behind this game, I have every reason to look forward to this game (reportedly, no major players in the making of FF13 were involved with the steering of this project). This game is the last straw for many Final Fantasy fans. Sakaguchi should've never left. However for those who don't know, the Final Fantasy movie, The Spirits Within is the project that destroyed Squaresoft and had the creator demoted after the Enix merge.
