As we know the line up of rappers in the show at the moment is not what you would call stellar or really ultra talented... i mean for instance we have the highschool girl who forgets her lyrics, the full on idol and the gangster wannabe etc etc you get what i'm trying to say here. Anyways since the producers said that the layout of the show would change to where girls would get eliminated and replaced with fresh blood, it has opened a big array of ways that the show could prosper with the addition of new unknown underground rappers who would bring a sense of  freshness, mystery and intrigue to the show as well as in the process help get their names out there.

So anyways enough useless words, let's get straight to the list;

1. Choi Sam - yes this is a name most of you might know so it may not come as a surprise why she is on the top, she's the top dog, HBIC, Queen B, basically every single phase/idiom for the 'best of the best', she envelops it. I don't really need to say much about her as it is already well established that she is the best female rapper in korea.

2. Liwon Kim - hasn't really made a name for herself in the past year, but her pure raw talent is something that should not be so easily overlooked with her 90's style flow, brilliant wordplay and emulation of her subject matter. The fact she also has a very nice singing voice is also a bonus on top of all these.

3. JooEun - this girl is really what you called underground, she's the most unknown of the unknown and i've absolutely no idea why that is. She's probably one of the only female rappers, with Choi Sam being one of the other ones,  who has and perfectly executes a machine-gun flow in this current day and age. There is no stopping her flow aligned with that top class delivery and enunciation, this girl can literally rap for days on end. She only has a few songs recorded and she deleted the one that showcases her talent the best so this will have to do.

4. Lee Minyoung/ M-zero - Now i found out about this girl around the same time as Choi Sam back in 12' because i kept hearing some people talking about this amazingly talented trainee from Stardom so i was like what the hell and checked her out. I wouldn't hesitate to say that she at one point was on a much higher level technically and lyrically than CS, but regardless these two girls were always neck and neck with each other when it comes down to talent. Nowadays Minyoung is rocking a new style after having left stardom and it really does suit her really well with her unrivalled alliteration, wordplay and smooth as cream delivery.

5. Prohunch - not really going to say much about her since i can't really be bothered at this point, but let's just say that she's a hybrid of the good features that both Minyoung and CS posses as well as their rap styles. Albeit she isn't as polished as the other two in their respected areas she does have amazing potential to reach the pinnacle of the rap industry with the right exposure and training. just have a listen for yourself and you'll see what i'm saying about her.

Now of course there are many many more talented female rappers out there should be on this list such as SLeeq, Mustard, VCOCA, AshB so on and so forth but these are the ones that in my personal opinion would make the show a hell of a lot more interesting and enjoyable to watch because you'd actually have these girls showcasing their talents rather then all this shenanigans going on with the show right now. Anyways what are you guys' thought on this subject? should the show bring in more unknown talent in hopes of helping the female industry thrive or just continue their rat race for ratings with these ridiculous edits and characters?

Minyoung really dodged a bullet there

she did with the way the company is in shambles now haha. What is an even worse thought is that she would have been put into an idol group and not been able to let her talent shine because well she a damn good looking girl if i say so myself...

Choi Sam maybe talented but her voice is boring tbh

i guess some people will love it and others not so much haha, but i personally feel like it suits her rap style and most of the subject matter in her songs really well... i mean could you imagine her rapping all that jazz with a higher pitch voice? haha

Do any of them code switch? I've noticed K-rappers often rap in one monotonous tone throughout their songs. Gets boring after a while tbh

out of those 5 listed above only like 2 of them do, but it's a very rare occurrence as they don't really rely on it to keep people interested. There are other girls out there though who do frequent it in their songs, but i personally really don't mind a single tone throughout a song  as long as they spit straight fire so i don't really pay much attention to it

The 2 that did it only did it for about 25 seconds. Hm, I see.
