Jean Grey 2,400 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 I really love musicals and Meryl Streep but after watching this I have mixed feelings. I really liked the first part of the movie (even thought johnny depp was like for a few moments) but the second part was messy (baker's wife with cindrella's prince wtf?) and that ending sucked. potaeto 1,933 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 I saw it earlier today and i loooved Meryl Streep in it, her character was the highlight for me. I also really liked the first half of the film and the second half sucked imo. Kinda sad how Johnny Depp was barely in it and most of the songs sounded similar to me. Another thing that kinda made the ending bad was the fact that it never really says what happens to some characters, they just disappear. But I heard that the real version of the story is worse and Disney actually toned it down? Maybe someone much more familiar with the original version can give their two cents? SoieLovesSpring 1,220 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 yes I watched it (& I don´t care what some might say) but I loved it some scenes were a little bit boring but in all I really enjoyed the movie few of them songs are even in my playlist now; Children Will Listen, Stay With Me, No One Is Alone, It takes 2.
