You rarely see anyone going around comparing these two because each one has a different way of contributing to the song. Yeah, we all know BYG is a better rapper than Zelo, but without Zelo it wouldn't be BAP, something like that? I stopped checking for BAP quite a while ago, but I still remember that fast rap Zelo did on 'Warrior'. Considering BTS, I only listened to their '2 Cool 4 Skool' album and from what I remember I agree with you, RapMon would definitely be low-tone and the rest would be high-tone. I'm no rap expert either but I don't think we need to be when discussing rappers in context of idol groups. Especially since most of them are just awful. About Gun, Mad Clown mentioned how he tends to ignore the beat and go off on his own and I agree. It was especially noticable in 'Hieut' where he started off on the wrong beat, but some people have argued that was intentional (if it was, then it was a big mistake on the producers' part because it sounded bad). I've seen comments from his fans that were like 'he never raps on the beat, that's his technique' and I'm like ??? That's not an excuse. That being said, I think Gun would fit as a main rapper in an idol group, but I can't say the same about him becoming a solo artist. I do hope he doesn't give up on rap, I would look forward to seeing his progress in the future. This. I actually don't see #GUN being much of a soloist until he improves his rapping by a lot. He'll make a splendid idol rapper though, but as far as solo rappers go, most are legions above him. I think Kwangji would make a better solo rapper than him based on approach and skill. I guess I wouldn't mind though if they included a song or two, but I'd rather it all be new lol :O NUBOYZ performed at the 2014 hallyu dream festival? where other famous kpop artists performed? i never knew that.... Any broadcast version? Quite a few rookie groups actually premiere or showcase themselves at these sort of concerts/festivals pre-debut or before a single drops. Their segments usually go unaired however. My guess is Starship assessed Nuboyz weren't a good enough investment and decided to make a more commercially appealing group. If they don't release a drama MV I'll be really disappointed, this MV is too short for such an elaborate concept. yes! They definitely need to release a drama version. Otherwise none of this really makes much sense yet. Did any of y'all see SPEED's music video movie a few years back? Pretty sure Minhyuk committed suicide when Hyungwon died. That tub scene was a bit too intimate for it to be shrugged off. I doubt Starship will go any further than that with it though lol. Starship isn't new to gay stuff so it's totally possible they're a couple in the MV. Even in that gay-themed K.Will MV they were really subtle so yeah, I doubt we'll see any sex scenes lol. Was that Hyungwon's arm on Minhyuk's chest though, in the drug party scene? Yea, I have hope because of that K.Will MV. It'd be really progressive, cause I don't think a boy group has touched on the topic. It could give them media coverage too if they decide to go down that route lol. I couldn't tell.
