I hope Shownu really takes on that role seriously instead of just having it for the sake of it. There are so many groups that have leaders who don't really even take their role seriously. Anyway, Jooheon really seems like one of those rappers that can sing too. He hasn't really sang seriously, but he seems to have a good sense of pitch. I remember he even harmonized with his back-up track during Yessir. That was the part that slayed me the most lol. jooheon seems like he can sing he sang yanghwa bridge during deokspatch karaoke episode? LOLS but shownu and wonho are the same age? shownu isn't the oldest? yeah, shownu's really shy - i'm glad he's the leader, but just looking from NO.MERCY episodes, wonho seemed more fit to be a leader? but who knows, maybe shownu will surprise us XD Look guys! :OO woahh they look so different!! i can only recognize #gun, wonho and minkyun is that IM on the far right? I just want to say that it kinda sucks to see a few people complaining about #Gun. I REALLY liked him too..but i hate to see this stuff her or even on youtube. I just want to say that i will stan MonX forever. I liked every trainee on No.Mercy and i knew that i probably wasn't gonna be 100% happy with the lineup. I'm with this group for the long haul, Gun or not. I can care less about the name. Don't get me wrong, i hate it but I wouldn't care if they where called PoopX and the fanclub name was Brownies. Even this would be a better name, cause everyone would know it was a joke, and people would just laugh. Yea, I thought it looked like Seokwon at first too and was hesitant to say it was I.M, but wasn't Seokwon one of the trainees that came in later with the LOEN merger? His jaw typically isn't that round either, and he has a well-defined features that I think I'd be able to recognize if I saw them, but maybe that's just the pic. All the recognizable faces look a bit different from usual in that pic actually tbh aside from maybe Minkyun lol. I also think that's why STARSHIP gave him the position, to bring out his character ... i agree :P just give shownu a chance he's awkward and shy, but i think he could be a leader too esp. during dance practice - he seemed most like a leader then on NO.MERCY also, even though shownu doesn't really talk alot and as said before, is shy, that kind of reminds me of BYG. he's really quiet, and only talks when has to, he also seems really shy also, and a lot of the times its himchan, daehyun and youngjae that do the talking. a leader doesn't have to be one who talks a lot or is all up in the front all the time. A more fitting one would be "why give someone a job they obviously don't have the qualifications for?". No shade to Shownu, but even during No.Mercy, he showed that although he's nice with the members, he doesn't have the best direction skills, hence his teams under-performing literally every time aside from maybe the dance battle. Wonho knows how to bring out the best in his members in comparison. Being nice and cuddly isn't everything lol. A good leader needs to know how bring out the best in people, have good direction, AND have the confidence to represent and speak for the group. Wonho fits all that, Shownu; not so much. I don't see leadership of a potential money-making group as a tool to get rid of someone's social anxiety. If there's someone else more deserving, I honestly think it should go to them from the start. Here's to hoping he proves himself over time though. He seems genuinely sweet, so I hope he does well. Perhaps the inevitable "double leadership" thing will work well for them. As I see it now, it's kinda like the group has two leaders lol. But still it's kinda sad, like Starship would've picked Wonho or even Jooheon as a leader if they want to but they don't. Of course you can still state your opinion and I really understand your reason, as a fan of him I'm just wondering just until when should I always read those kind of comment about how undeserving Shownu is as a leader, and hoping you guys would give him a chance someday.
