Just wanna say I'm hoping the word Alligator is not mentioned in the track or at least only once/in the rap, cause no matter how I try, I cannot think of a way it doesn't sound awkward. Kinda like..waka-waka ....................................

The Waka walka part wasn't too bad but I cannot imagine singing my heart out to lines that says constantly says "alligator" loll. And now that it sort has been confirmed from the small preview they are actually gonna say Alligator...i have such mixed feelings ...

 

 

Yeah the first part of the video seemed like a joke(children song parody), but the second part where Shownu and Wonho did a Thriller like move might be actually part of the choreo.

Tbh, the whole concept of a song called Alligator is giving me such an anxiety attack, because this can come out one of two ways, either very good, or very bad/cringe(there cant possibly a middle ground). So i hoping and pray for the choreo, lyrics, and concept come out good. Like please Starship don't fuck up! 

 

Seriously, this is how I'm feeling. I have never been this anxious/scared for MX comeback in regards to their concept till now. I really dont want this alligator stuff to be cringe.

I was too excited to watch the teaser, I didn't notice such small detail at all. Some Mbbs even spotted the "X=4155102M" in the room with Kihyun even though that room is filled with numbers!!!

The water dance break spoiler is funnier when I remember Jooheon once said how Mbbs think everything they say before album promotion period is spoiler. Now they just gave us the whole thing and we didn't suspect a thing

 

I watched the teaser so many times but yeah lol I was too hyped about the teaser to notice small details like that.

Its their catchiest and most public friendly so far and it still managed to have their signature style, I'm so proud I really really like the song tbh. Its one of my fave title track by them now, everything flow so well I am absolutely in love with Hyungwon's part. His voice is soooo beautiful and unique. It has a calming effect.

 

Agreed! I think this is one of their more catchier songs, but still very Monsta X as you said. 

And yes really liking Hyungwon's parts not just in Alligator but in the other tracks as well. I just wish he had tad more lines. 

 

 

It's super weird how Party Time is the furthest from my usual music style but I actually like it the best. The "dalalala" part is SO addicting  

 

I really liked Party Time as soon as I heard it in the album preview and I'm glad the entire song delivered, it's such cool and chill song...weirdly I feel some type of nostalgia listening to it. I dont know but I love it.

This IS Monsta X's best album and I dare to say one of the best this year already. Every single song is high quality. I still can't choose a favorite, they all sound better than the other. Love Turbulence, Ghost, Stealer and Party Time. They have so many options for bside to promote, which one do you guys think its going to be? I wish its either Turbulence, Stealer or Party Time but I'd be glad with any tbh. All bops.

 

YESS I agree, absolutely love this album. I am having trouble picking favorites lol. I think another reason why I really like this album a lot more than their previous one is bc it sounds a lot more cohesive. 

 

And yes ALL BOPS indeed, then again MX never puts out a bad song and thats a fact.

I've been rewatching yesterday's music show performance repeatedly! 

Their performances was so top tier, I legit felt like I was watching MAMA awards show lol. 

I feel sorry for those who hate/dislike MX for no reason, missing out on so much talent and hard work.

Play It Cool stage looked like a fashion show, I loved it,  such a upgrade in the outfits compared to the first stage. 

I just love this song and choreo so much, I'm so glad they are able to promote the full song.

i just love this sooo much, he was super sweet and gave them all hug for their first and second Alligator win. 

 

I'm still bitter that they didn't debut the eliminated trainees from no mercy as a second group. It's heart-warming that they got to meet Minkyun again though, Wonho looks especially happy

I am just happy Minkyun and Yoonho at least debuted. I am still waiting for Seokwan, he had such potential, really liked his voice.

You know how sometimes Japanese version of Korean song can sound awkward, I don't really see it here, imo it actually flows well.

So many new changes...the new logo...sigh, starship does not know the concept of "if aint broke, don't fix it". 

 

Version 2 of the lightstick however does not seem too bad, I think it looks slick and the top part appears more "spaced out" so I think it will allow for more light to emit...I'm going to miss the sparkly purple tint though, version 1 will always be iconic

It's okayish.. I don't know, the new shape is absolutely gorgeous, but the color is bland in my opinion. But at least I could make up my mind and finally ordered the original light stick from eBay, even if the bluetooth is only going to work on the new version. So far they haven't used it outside of Korea anyway

So, MX released their new single! It's actually really good, I like it. It's very groovy and smooth at the same time.

 

 

_{But I have to say...I'm not usually the one to complain about line distribution but IM is completely missing from the song, like wtf. This happened with Play It Cool Eng version as well. You would think the member who is more fluent in English would get some lines but nope. Kihyun didn't really get any lines either, although I think I hear him in the chorus.}
