I wonder what kind of buzz they're making that made them grab a CF pre-debut. Most likely due to No Mercy. Since I heard somewhere that the reason why companies make survival shows like this is to bring hype. Plus they're likely debuting soon. Plus they're all talented. I didn't have a problem with Jooheon's lines though. Since it's their debut they need to put their best foot forward. I'm sure the distribution will get better overtime. And I.M literally wasn't shown at all in the video except in the last seconds during his part. Like, literally saw no close ups of his face an then he was wearing that damn hat. Hope things are more fair for them in the future because I truthfully only heard Jooheon and Kihyun. Wonho had half a stanza. But I didn't expect much, because Kihyun's the main vocal, and Shownu is there. Plus there are 5 vocals so there will be expected conflicts. As for Jooheon showing his face every few seconds in the vid, take note: Jooheon is the most well known of all of them so I'm pretty sure he's the face of the group, thus more screen time. aiacandy 3,313 Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 there are more visuals in the group Shownu is a visual + Hyungwon (main) + Wonho + Minhyuk + I.M (some people have compared him to ikon's visual) = 5 visuals/ 7 jooheon is visual material as well and so is Kihyun I do agree that all of them are visual material (especially Kihyun who is my bias woooot), but I based my visual label on their No Mercy days, where Wonho, Hyungwon, and Minhyuk are the visual line. I actually like all of the members, even Hyungwon now (I admit I was salty about him making the cut instead of a certain "sharp" person) but he's proven himself as being a powerhouse dancer and a low-tone singer. He's needed to balance out the vocal line. And to address Shownu looking boring. OMG he's an awkward potato, can't you see? That's what makes him adorable! aiacandy 3,313 Posted May 19, 2015 Share Posted May 19, 2015 i had a dream that for some reason monsta X preformed in SMTM, the preformed like a special version of No Exit and trespass. it was kinda of the same song but different choreography but the new dance was so bad. i felt so mad, cuz i knew this wasnt the boys lvl. whats worst is that Tablo criticized them, he said it was a miss and this isnt hip-hop and that he was so disappointed at jooheon, then Joohoney was eliminated ... I don't know why I upvoted your post. Nevertheless, that seems like the complete opposite of No Mercy, since Jooheon was the one eliminated, and we all know he'd never get cut. I do watch some k-variety too but I don't watch it all. I watch 1d2n and I know k-variety shows can have comedy that may make viewers cringe. Now that I know it was a gag on Running Man, I think I.M. has superb acting skills. Also, "Evil Maknae" sounds good. And I've changed biases. I'm going to make my list here (I love them all) just to record officially my new list and we'll see after a few more comebacks if I ever change again. 1) Wonho (Visual + Vocal + Dancer! Plus he seems like there's so many sides of his personality, and I really like that about him! Definitely worth stanning for! Not to mention he has some nice abs ) 2/3) I.M / Kihyun (They're on the same level as of now, I.M knows how to creep up to your list, it's his superpower I swear! And of course Kihyun who still maintains a cute exterior despite being in badass concepts~) 4) Shownu (He definitely is still an awkward potato but his words are meaningful and his smile is genuine) 5) Minhyuk (He seems like the most fun out of them but that being said, he seems like the one who gets in the most trouble out of all of them due to his honest nature, but he's bright and energetic and I like that about him!) 6/7) Jooheon / Hyungwon (Hyungwon used to be dead last and I didn't like him as much since I was a bit #Gun salty but he's grown on me a lot over the months, he's a great dancer and his vocal tone complements the group. I feel like I would get along well with Jooheon personality-wise since he seems like a person who would say "Oh man!" and high-five me all the time and make me feel like I'm his true friend. In vocal terms though, in my own preference he's in the bottom half.) Needless to say all of them are talented and amazing in their own way!
