C-Clown’s Ray Gets Dehydrated While Filming Music Video

 

C-Clown’s Ray got dehydrated while filming a music video.

C-Clown’s agency, Yedang Entertainment said, “We can’t say whose music video Ray will appear in, but it’s a music video of one of the country’s best duo groups.â€

 

 

A staff who was at the music video filming site stated, “Ray had to continue to shed tears over a long time to retain the sad emotion, but he didn’t complain at all and took care of other staff too.â€

According to Ray’s agency staff, he ended up getting dehydrated after crying for over five hours, but was able to complete filming.

C-CLOWN has been nicknamed the ‘New Hallyu Idol.’ Already, their presence in the Asian market has already spread in all directions, their very presence enough to make you realize just how much KPOP’s popularity overseas has grown. Fans have put up posters they’ve made around the group’s company while awaiting for their comeback, obviously proving that these guys are obviously more than just a small matter. The group has prepared themselves as much as their support has. Winning with a different story and a different look, C-CLOWN tells us a few stories before their upcoming comeback.

 

1. Firstly, please give us a brief greeting.
All (the members) : Hello, we are C-CLOWN!
Rome : I’m Rome, I’m the leader.
Kang Jun : I’m Kang Jun, I’m in charge of being the main vocals.
Ray : I’m Ray, I’m in charge of visuals.
Siwoo : I’m Siwoo, I’m in charge of being 4D.*
*4D = “fourth dimensional†basically meaning Siwoo is in charge of being “eccentric and wacky†or having a “unique personality.â€
T.K : I’m T.K, I’m in charge of rap.
Maru : I’m Maru, I’m in charge the team’s future.

 

2. If you could give us a brief introduction to your new (upcoming) album?
Rome : It has a foundation on a stronger, more intense sound and our concept is expected to be something that has never been seen before. The choreography and the costumes, as well as the props we’re going to use, are the three main points that we’re focusing on for the song. But to give you a slight hint, the music will focus on the concept of “justice.†Hahaha. That’s all I’m saying. This makes you wonder more right?

 

3. The pre-released song ‘Tell Me’ is a definite change from the styles you’ve shown us before in the past, it has a different feeling to it. What do you think is the driving force behind trying a variety of genres?
Kang Jun : First off, our CEO (the late Byun Du Seob) helped us so that we could try out different genres. Not only that, the support the other company employees gives us allows us to find it in ourselves to challenge ourselves as well.

 

4. I understand everyone went on vacation prior to comeback. Did you receive a lot of energy from your vacation?
Kang Jun : My father had built a pension out in Mokpo and there, I was able to gain all my good energy back by eating delicious food with my family.
Rome : I went to Australia for a while. It was really nice to be able to see the ocean, eat delicious food, and see my mother that I haven’t seen in a while.
Maru : I hung out with my friends that I haven’t been able to see in a while. I gained a lot of energy being able to do the things that I wasn’t able to do during our promotions.
Ray : It was really nice to be able to see my parents that I haven’t seen in a while, I gained energy simply by eating the food from home.
T.K : During New Year’s Day, I made New Year’s resolutions with my friends. I received newfound energy then.
Siwoo : I had a great time down in Gwangju with all my relatives gathered together. I think I gained a lot of energy from being with my family.

 

5. Recently, it’s definitely C-CLOWN that has become the hottest idol group in Southeast Asian countries. If you had to choose one thing that set C-CLOWN apart and allowed you to grab the attention of Southeast Asia, what would that be?
Ray : First, I think it’s because we aren’t prideful. Our goal is to always be humble while trying our best. I feel like this is why our fans have recognized us as something special, I think.

 

6. Recently, the posters that were put up with your fans’ love have become a hot topic. If you could say only one thing to your reliable fans, the ‘CROWNs,’ what would it be?
Rome : I have nothing to say other than that of course, it’s our CROWN’s! We hope guys give us lots and lots of support when we have our comeback!

 

7. If C-CLOWN could fulfill any goal for 2014, what would it be?
Maru : We learned to aim as high as we could. Truthfully, for 2014, we’d like to snag all the awards, like the ‘Trend of the Year’ Award, the ‘Popularity’ Award, the ‘End-of-the-Year’ Awards, in one full sweep.

 

8. Your high quality live performances are garnering a lot of attention. Where do you get the inspiration needed to do such performances?
Rome : I don’t think we have it’s because we have any particular inspiration but more importantly because we are passionate. But if we weren’t able to enjoy ourselves on stage, then by all means, we also wouldn’t be able to have a good result on stage either. I think being able to enjoy what you do and have a passionate heart over what you do is the most important.

 

9. The news of Ray’s exhaustion during the music video shooting because of his enthusiastic performance spread like wildfire. Are you planning on challenging other areas of acting apart from music?
Ray : This time, when I acted, I realized that acting was very difficult. Normally, I don’t get an opportunity to learn acting but this was a sudden opportunity that came to me. But come to think of it, it would have been a waste if I didn’t approach acting with relish this time. Next time, I hope I can be the Ray that is capable of taking on an even cooler role.

 

10. C-CLOWN has already absorbed a variety of genres, in the future what genre or concept would you like to do?
Kang Jun : I would like to try a concept where you can run around and play on stage.
Rome : I want to try out the hip-hop concept at least once.
Maru : In the future, I would like to have solo activities. I would also like to have the hyungs be my backup dancers then(?)
Ray : I would like to do activities as part of a unit. I want to try out the genres R&B and hip-hop.
T.K : I want to try out a funky and exciting style of music.
Siwoo : I want to be with Ray (in a unit). I’ll like to meet with fans as part of a unit with him.

 

11. Please describe what you think would be the main point or focus that you think the general public would like for your current (upcoming) album.
Maru : This upcoming album is a style that we’ve never done before. Even when we listen to it, we get really pumped up. The end product is a lot better than our last one and because of that, I hope you guys focus on our choreography and the songs as a whole.

 

12. The members released their childhood photographs to the public in your own version of ‘Answer Me 1994.’ Amongst the members, when you saw how they were as children, which member do you think changed the least since they grew up?
All (with the exception of Rome) : Rome-hyung! Whoever sees Rome-hyung and him when he was a child, thinks he’s changed the least since he’s grown up. Maybe since they’re photos from 1994, but we think it’s obvious that Rome hyung would look the least changed since then.

 

13. If you could give any kind of blessings/words do you have to say to another member for their 2014 activities?
Kang Jun -> Rome : Love your enemies!
Rome -> Maru : Your future is the brightest and you have many abilities, so I hope you will work your hardest.
Maru -> Ray : I hope that you work hard in the future just as much as you do now.
Ray -> T.K : I hope in 2014, you will perfect every aspect you want to improve upon.
T.K -> Siwoo : Siwoo’s change hair change made him more masculine so I hope he can grow even more masculine!
Siwoo -> Kang Jun : Health is the best! I hope you take care of your health during our promotions!

 

14. This is the end of the interview but please give us a brief plan/goal that you’re planning for your upcoming promotions.
Kang Jun : With this album, we will strengthen our public recognition and strive to surely sweep all the awards.
Rome : It’s simple but I hope for 2014 C-CLOWN will be able to do even better.
Maru : I hope we’ll be so busy with promotions that we won’t even have a day of rest.
Ray : I also have the same hope as Maru. It’ll be nice if we are able to be so diligent in our promotions that we collapse.
T.K : I hope 2014 will be a year that becomes more and more meaningful for C-CLOWN.
Siwoo : I hope this year will be the year that we can show the public even more of us!
