Anyway, it's bad bc CCTV will have a gap in their schedule of performances.

If SM cancelled bc CCTV had promoted KrisHan meet up 2 days ago... Rome will burn.

Isn't lay still performing? I wonder who pulled Exo from the line-up though, cctv or sm.

CCTV only said MCing.

I'll bet SM did it. CCTV announced EXO to be part of the line-up, and it seems to be a decision from not so much time ago.

I think even though i dont know what happened but based on my experiences about issues like this SM statement regarding Luhan and Kris also play a part in this decision. CCTV still kind enough to invite Donghae and Eunhyuk (Lay is another story he's Chinese), I hope SM won't be that reckless anymore in the future.

Oh that sucks. I saw somewhere that he was mc-ing and has a solo performance. Too bad.

yixing will be participating in the recording of CCTV Network Spring Festival on 11 feb! he will be one of the guest hosts for the show! ^^

 

his schedule as a guest host for the cctv spring festival was actually confirmed in september 2014 ^^

 

uhh if anyone's confused, the cctv network spring festival that yixing will be attending is not the same as the one luhan will be attending

sm already threatened CCTV saying that they will pull all of their artists from the chinese year end show so I'm not surprised by this:

SM is afraid of other members following in their footsteps (rumoured there was also 1 more person wanting to leave) and suffered losses. Reveal: a particular new years show had invited Luhan to attend. SM had then stated that if those two were to be allowed to attend, none of their own artists will consequently be present at other new year shows. From an entertainment perspective, SM also clearly expressed that if the two were to go on stage, none of their own artists will co-operate. Thankfully, Luhan and Wu Yi Fan are all Chinese kids, thus the situation will not be as awkward as that of JYJ.

oh, thanks. I know it was settle to EXO be part of the show a long time ago, EXO has attended Spring Festival for 2 years since their debut. I meant that it was not a decision from a long time ago that EXO will not be attending this year the Spring Festival.

CCTV is not a nuguTV. CCTV is connected with the communism party in China. 

CCTV network target younger audiences, so CCTV allows foreigns to be in it. The big event CCTV Spring Gala Festival is for the general public, and only if the artist is were a foreign loved by the whole Chinese nation (for example, if s/he is Lee Min Ho), s/he can take part of this big event. EXO attended the Network one in the last 2 years. Luhan and Kris are Chinese, so no problems for them to be in it.

SM pulled EXO? Havent heard about this, do you have source where it says this? Cuz it's different from what I heard and it's one sided from CCTV not SM because Donghae & Eunhyuk is still from SM.

Not sure since I just came back from class and saw this thread lol. That's why I put a question mark at the end~ I'm going to check now haha. 

 

Edit: everywhere I looked it just said that EXO's Lay was going? CCTV Network's weibo also said to anticipate Lay's

MC-ing so idk if EXO are actually going. Have they flown to China to pre-record it yet bc if the haven't then they're probably not going?

Lay already flew to China by himself so it's just lay. Idk, I thought it was all of exo was going with lay mc-ing but now it's just lay only.

oh i see~ i also thought that exo would be going because of cctv network's weibo from january but i guess they pulled out last minute.

It's frustrating to see a lot of people spread misinformation just because they don't want Lay to be associated with Krishan.

 

The day of the announcement of Krishan being in the CCTV Spring Festival (Televised) Gala, Lay followed the Weibo account of the (televised) event and liked the post that announced Krishan as guests. But noooooo it couldn't be because he was supporting them, EXO fans had to rationalize it by saying that he only followed and liked the account because he would be MC-ing (again, they are two DIFFERENT events). So people got confused and it added to the misinformation about them attending the same event.

 

Anyway, it's SM's loss if they were the ones who pulled EXO out from the line-up. TFBoys, Jolin Tsai, etc are all performing and would bring in the ratings. SM doesn't realize how irrelevant they really are, do they?
