EXILE / Jounetsu no Hana

Now this is the EXILE I like. Dance songs are fine once in a while, but hopefully they're going to keep going down this road. The PV was shot beautifully, and all the individual scenes kept it from seeming too overwhelming (because of the added new members). Kinda wish there had been more shots of some members, but overall, I love it! :lub:

ASHKISKDLSDKSILKSDIL such a gorgeous song and PV!!! :ilove:

Happy that Sekai got some solo dance spotlight and that they incorporated some tango(?) moves in the group choreo. I was also extremely impressed with Naoki's couple dance - such strength and grace.  :stare:

He really made the homage to Nightcrawler (the Marvel mutant) and Naruto with the Kage Bunshin xDD

Naoki is dancing with the same girl he was paired up in R.Y.U.S.E.I. I forgot her name I thought she was just a talent but yay they danced sexually XD

No, she isn't. The girl in RYUSEI PV is Courtney McCullough, she a model. An the the girl in JnH PV is Koharu Sugawara, she is a professional dancer and choreographer.

My impressions:

-Best musical release of them in a long time. I think older fans who became disenchanted by the newer releases of EXILE will love the track more than it having the potential to create new fans.

-The Spanish music style is evident in this track. If only they included some flamenco influences in the dance....

-Thanks Qnuy for telling us where is Mendy. In the BTS, he looks fiercer and hotter.

-Shokichi, AKIRA and the long haired woman look like a group from an indie American comic. The gritty atmosphere helps to make a good setting.

-SEKAI is taking important steps in my EXILE bias list. He's been doing a terrific job so far.

-Koharu Sugawara <3333

-Naoki being dominated <3333333

Hi, I'm new to the OneHallyu site and am a fan of EXILE and especially Sandaime J Soul Brothers and Second to Exile. I came across them through E-Girls and their Seifuku dance clip Diamond Only and thought their dancing was amazing, being a former dancer myself. Then I discovered the Exile Pride clip and thought they were pretty amazing too!! I started listening to their music and the vocalists aren't bad either!!

I watched the Jounestu no hana clip, and liked the musical direction that they were taking, and that Sekai was involved in the choreography of the dancing as well.

I was watching promotional clips of this song and their forthcoming album, and I thought I noticed some tension between Sekai and especially Akira, as they worked together for creating the choreography. I could pick up bits and pieces in Japanese and I could tell that Sekai had problems with the freestyle element of the choreography?

I'm sure they're fine and they work well together but it was just something I noticed.

Arigatou!!  :)

Judging from your words, I think of that as a friendship. Even a good friendship has moments of "tension", using the word you've just employed, and sometimes it's unavoidable to have disagreements and stuff. But I think it's better to mend fences bit by bit and making a great relationship that no having problems at all, but being stagnated as hell. As a person who has replied to your opinion, I may be wrong, though, but I try to learn.

And thank you for coming to this thread and leave your input as a former dancer, the truth is that it's kind of a breath of fresh air.

Hi, thanks for your kind words :)

Yeah I agree, I think this new musical style is good for EXILE and as you said better that they grow and develop and form an even stronger relationship than remain stagnant. They work closely together so it isn't unexpected I guess.

That's a sign of a good friendship/working relationship :)

Welcome!

Thanks! :)

Hi everyone,

Bit of a random question, but does the new EXILE: Tower of Wish 2014 DVD have the option for English subtitles? I was thinking about getting it but wanted to check this factor out first.

Thanks!!
