They were supposed to make my periods happen less often and be less painful, but instead they just made me have a period for 6 weeks cuz I'm special like that (it's a rare side effect, anyone who's considering taking them please don't be scared off by this, BC is great for most people). I'm going to a gynecologist next month to get them, I am unable of leading a normal live when I'm on my period(basically throwing up, not being able to walk, my kidneys going crazy and such), so my family doctor recommended me it. For me, I gained weight even though none of my habits have changed. Actually, I have been exercising more. I also got bigger breasts though so...hmmm.
