Question to bisexual people.

Did you or do you feel that urge to come out? Like 'hey I also guys/girls'.

When you look at gay poeple they don't want to pretend to be somebody else and they want poeple close to them to know about their sexual orientation. I completely respect that and in my opinion they shouldn't live in the closet.

As a bisexual myself I've never felt that way. But when I introduced exgirlfriend I told my family that she is my friend and that's it.

What about you?

Ugh...

It really depends. My bisexuality isn't really clear cut and trying to explain it to not only straight people but some gay people or lesbians is just stressful. So many people think of bisexuality as not even being real. So if they're important to me then I'll tell them but yeah. The only person I'd feel obligated to tell is my partner.

There were times in the past when I really did want to admit it to some people once I got past the bi-curious kind of stage. There were times when I actually did too (3/4 of them were bc i was drunk lol) but I made sure I didn't tell it to people who I was close too or people who I knew were homophobic. Surprisingly nobody even batted an eye. It became easier after that and after I found out that nobody gave a fuck lol.

I had 5 close friends who came out to me last year as bisexual/gay and that inspired me a lot. Also i realized that almost half of my close friends arent straight and since I was a kid I grew up thinking that girls liking girls was the most normal thing ever.
