[Only] after having lost [something] does one come to cherish everything.
[When we] reunite again after parting ways, don't let go.
Believe me, love doesn't need to be dissected,
No need to prevaricate and make up some justification.

Life is pleasant to the ears because of you, soothing [my] apprehensive soul.
wish that [my] figure [can] hide in your eyes for a lifetime.
Standing at the weighing scale of love, [i/we] do not fuss over whose [love] is the lighter [of the two].
I am willing to hold a familiar hand,
Keeping you company in watching the dreamlike quality of an ephemeral life[2] with a smile.

Vega[1] is reflected in [my] pupil.
Suffering and pain dissipate in the wind.
No need to say any promises;
Everything is in the silence.

T/N:

[1] 织女星 (lit. weaving woman star) is the Chinese name for Vega, one of the brightest stars in the night sky. The famous folktale of 牛郎织女 (The Weaver Girl and the Cowherd) is one of the classic Chinese love stories. It tells the trials and tribulations of the forbidden love between the Weaver Girl (Vega) and the Cowherd (Chinese name for Altair). They were ultimately caught and, pulling a hairpin from her head, the Goddess of Heaven scratched out the "silver river" ([1.1] the Milky Way) between them, thus dividing the Weaver Girl from the Cowherd and their two children. They cannot meet, except once annually on the seventh day of the seventh month, when magpies fly up and build a bridge for them. Their reunion is celebrated through the Qixi (lit. Night of Sevens) Festival. It is a romantic occasion.

[2] 浮生如梦 is another way of saying the idiom 浮生若梦, which literally means floating life is like a dream. It speaks to the uncertainty and brevity of life.

[3] In keeping with format, both [3.1] 天è’åœ°è€ and [3.2] 海枯石烂 were translated literally. In actuality, these two are metaphorical idioms referring to the passage of an incredibly long period of time.
