so basically rain was picked out directly by the military to become a celeb soldier? he didn't even apply. surely that takes all blame away from him and puts it completely on the military.

Well... ok, but seriously for Rain and probably the others those would only have been formalities anyway? >.>  Obviously he has experience/put on shows etc, so... they were always going to beat out some non-celeb who wanted in on this unit anyway.

Well I guess Rain should burden a share of the responsibility for his actions during his tenure, but it really is the fault of the military for not letting have his days off, allowing other celebs to goof off and basically even creating this pseudo military duty.

This article just highlights the obvious corruption in the military but uses Rain as the scapegoat.

I just don't like how him and Se7en are being used as scapegoats. Se7en's bad choices helped them abolish the useless celebrity soldier unit that they hated so in a way they should thank him. Doesn't make what he did any less wrong though. They should be focusing ask their energy/hate on the MoD but ofc, they won't.
