Sina website said the show had been trying to get him since 2012, but he was cautious and always felt he would consider it only when he was more mature. The show said on Weibo: "Announcing the first mentor of the fourth season of The Voice Of China! He is the newlywed Heavenly King Jay Chou!" The addition of Chou, the biggest star to judge The Voice Of China, is a tremendous coup for the show. My main problem with the show though is that it always feels like they edit out almost everyone who fails the audition.
