He already did his military service though  :imstupid: And he was active duty...

 

Dumb casting. I thought the purpose of the show was to expose those who haven't done their service yet to it. IMHO a younger idol would have been better.

LMAO no its not, many of the celebs that have been on the show have already served.

 

Having said that I'm happy his getting more work but.. knetz will have a field day with this.

I don't think it's that bad of an idea? If he plays his cards correctly he can finally put an end to his situation before the bigger public and be able to finally put his past behind him and regain his popularity little by little. He also doesn't have much to lose anyways.

 

Hoping for this show to be a blessing in desguise. I will miss his glorious hair though.

I agree. Real Men seems to be a popularity boost without doubt. If he shows his hardworking side and what he already learned, maybe Knetz will finally forgive him and move on.

Show Champion and A Song For You don't have a lot of exposure outside of Kpop fandoms, and while Bachelor Party seems to have a good cast, it's also a new show and might take awhile to get traction. Real Men has good ratings, Kangin knows what to expect, and I think it'll be a good chance for his appa-side to come out with the less informed/experienced cast members. He has matured a lot, and he can speak firsthand about how the military made a positive impact on him. 

 

If he really wants to try and regain some of his previous popularity, he needs to go big. MCing music shows isn't going to cut it. I think this was a very smart move for Kangin and I hope it goes well.

I agree with previous comments. Anyone who has gone on this show, so far, has gotten popularity from it. So, this is really smart of him to do. Especially since he's already done his service. And yeah there's been older gentleman on the show who have done their services before. Even K Will has lol. Kind of disappointed Henry is leaving though. I wanted to see them two together and Henry with the twins lol. But he's been on there for a good while now and I'm sure it's all pretty draining. Maybe Henry and/or SJ-M is having something else coming in the future and he has to spend time on that and not the show?

The show is still doing well it seems. So, as long as it is lol. Maybe every male idol will do it. Too bad the younger guys (like the twins) couldn't have it count towards their mandatory service lmao.

Isn't kangin a little old to real men? This show is no joke. Let kangin in roommate. Knetizen would never let go one's past, so what's the point in having him in real men?
