The first series spanned the two years before the Great War beginning with news of the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, which set the story in motion. The second series covered the years 1916 to 1919, and the 2011 Christmas Special covered the 1919 Christmas period, ending in early 1920. Tbh, I really needed somewhere to vent my suspicions and release my tensions. Only to play it again and OMG!!!!! If no one has seen it yet, but is watching the series, I'll put it in a spoiler. I cannot believe Lord Grantham committed an adulterous and kissed that bimbo!!! You didn't even think about Cora!!!! :sad: I also think Mary is a bit of a self-centered cunt, I try to like her and see her position, but it's so hard. I've been trying to refrain from finding out because I don't want to spoil anything at all. I really hope it's soon. The only thing I know so far is that there is going to be a black guy introduced into the show, lol, which is awesome!!! hi guys. I'm still stuck at season 2. I really don't know whether I want to continue watching because I spoiled myself with what happened in season 3 ;_; You should still try to catch up on details, it helps you understand how they got there. Although it may be frustrating knowing what to expect, once you get past that you are introduced to knew awesome elements. Plus, season 4 will return at anytime. Adding so many characters made me a bit annoyed. And when they killed off Sybil I was pissed. Why not kill Edith instead ugh. If you live in the UK or stream it (like me) it usually starts in September. It'll air in the US near the beginning of the following year. season 3 is well worth the watch for a certain subplot for a character you might not like but probably will start too after you see it. All I have to say is, although I couldn't stand Mary at first, I will at least have to say Mary - or at least Michelle Dockery herself is FLAWLESS!! Idk what happened, but she is just <3 Beautiful! My emotions reached its peak in the final 30 seconds of the show. Nothing else can describe how I feel right now. Nothing. Out of all season, to be honest, I think this one has touched me the MOST, even after all that has taken place. Season 3 = best season as of yet. Omg I'm waiting for season four. Especially towards Mary. I love Mary and Matt two...my feels tho. omg I will admit that I was quite fond of Edna and Tom. And Jimmy...oh my Lord, I can see why Thomas was after that ass! I kinda shipped Alfred and Daisy early in the season tho. I wished that they elaborated on those relationships, although I'm happy to see Ivory and Daisy get on much better than before.
