It's inevitable tbh, with yoongi's personality and the circumstances they're in (forgive my delutional thinking here ) well yoongi clearly doesn't like skinship and not clingy. But their little moments are so sweet (I treasure it a lot) and I want more. Argghhhhhh Eventhough Yoonmin is 2nd most popular Bangtan ship in SK (TaeKook 1st) Yoongi clearly doesn't do anything to maintain it well he never intents it from the beginning. The way JM sit's like a girl I don't know which era is this though I actually like to believe that they still play together if they both have time. Old habits die hard In one of BTS latest fansign, a fan asked Jimin about his fav Bangtan member and Jimin chose JHope and Suga. I actually surprise he didn't choose JK. In other question about his relationship with V, Jimin drew 2 swords to describe their relationship and said that they're friend/enemy, there is no in between. And at Jimin birthday, V wrote in fancafe a letter for Jimin, but what caught my attention is that V said something along the lines that Jimin usually doesn't care about him, but if it's not him then who would leave a message for JM birthday maybe there are some error in translation, idk. But atleast it gives me more perspective about their dynamics. I don't think it's bad, because they always say that they're like family and usually family members have this kind of love-hate relationship with each other Like me and my sister,,,we would fight each other one day, then make up the next day, only to fight again and make up again and the cycle goes But even though we like to fight each other, doesn't mean we harbor negative/hard feeling, and when we go outside, we'll protect and defend each other. Does it make any sense?? And I think in a group there are always member(s) you closer to than others. It's normal really but if I said it out loud many people will feel offended and I don't want to argue with other ARMYs. In most Asian country, holding one's head is considered rude/impolite,,,,especially if that person is older than you. But it could also mean adoration/affection though so I really like it when he does that )) Also I find that most often than not, they use to sit next to each other. I don't think the subs are fake,, I've watched it but I couldn't find it again. It was in one of Japan's concert/fanmeeting, wasn't it?? [note, I'm a pretty new BTS fan; fell hard and fast for them but still have a lot of their content to watch] I'm here because after going through a fair bit of fanfiction, I was wondering why there seems to be so much Yoonmin, as their relationship/interactions didn't particularly stand out to me when seeing them in Bangtan Bombs or other various things. I guess part of that was just still getting to know who was who, and then some bias-blindness on my part. But I've read enough Yoonmin now that somehow it's now on my "preferred ships for fics" list, lol, and I'm looking out for it now in their videos/pics. I'm guessing that the reason for that is that, despite never actually seeing/looking for it on their actual content, the concept of the Yoonmin dynamics are interesting to me? (guessing that's a big reason for Yoonmin despite apparently giving little material as some have said) But I still would like to know other people's reasons or something? I don't know, I've never commented in a thread like this before ._. sorry for writing so much, this is probably out of place here I just really like analysis/meta >< please take care of me! but to be honest I might just lurk mostly but I hope this thread grows a hundred fold! like the vmin thread lol Wow,,,you make account for this?? And yes, Yoonmin definitely dominate fanfic area, it's like not any ships even closer ~lol~ maybe VKook I know some cases with people liking idol because of fanfic and also hating idol because of it. The power of literature But if you take a closer look at Bangtan, Yoonmin is already there even predebut. So they're like canon couple but they got distant at some point but their supporter keep loyal all the way. Basically that They're really popular with K-ARMY. People love their dynamics and somehow, their not-in-your-face moments is kind of endearing. Honestly I first liking them because they kept getting teased for their looks (I got into defensive mode at the time) before I learnt better about Bangtan dynamics. I can feel that they're sincere with each other. Looking for their moments kind of challenging too Their personality also opposite each other. You know they say "Opposite attracts" I hope you post often They got many moments at BTS 2nd Muster. But since I follow tumblr and they're everywhere so this thread kind of neglected. So I'm just over here grinning with stars in my eyes but when I go to the comments, I scroll through pages and pages and I can't find any comments on it (Hoseok also has hands on him but I never saw anything about it either)! Also, that one video (BBomb?) where Jimin's with Yoongi to support him in basketball and tries to out-cheer someone else still cracks me up every time I think about it. ALSO OMG THIS PICTURE THIS PICTURE I'm talking about the bottom one that was the "reward" for something like votes or something that Yoongi promised - I HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS DOING BUT HE WAS WASHING HIS CLOTHES ON JIMIN'S WASHBOARD ABS?!?!? HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAH i could not figure out why Jimin was like, glistening, and why Yoongi was holding clothes up to him. I was thinking that he cornered Jimin in the shower or something to take the pic. It was when BTS still nugu.
