It's inevitable tbh, with yoongi's personality and the circumstances they're in (forgive my delutional thinking here ) well yoongi clearly doesn't like skinship and not clingy. But their little moments are so sweet (I treasure it a lot) and I want more. Argghhhhhh Eventhough Yoonmin is 2nd most popular Bangtan ship in SK (TaeKook 1st) Yoongi clearly doesn't do anything to maintain it well he never intents it from the beginning. But I also don't want them to force it like "in your face" because it will lose its sincerity coz it will feel business-like Finding Yoonmin moment these days is as hard as finding Sugamon moments I think it's the small moments that make yoonmin so precious. like they're not constantly floating skinship in your face or overdo the skinship to the maximum, but show with small gestures & stares how much they care about each other. like I'm 100% sure yoongi cares about jimin a lot, like soooo mucccch. He's not overly affectionate, that's right, but whenever he does do skinship it's really precious and sweet. I didn't expect him to say the intro but then again Jimin always seem to put his members first Their dynamics are so interesting I just a yoonmin video that was posted in the main thread and I'm just I think Yoonmin in the rookie king era was my fav Jimin is the most giving member whatsoever - he always puts all the other members first and supports them with all his heart. he's such an angel tbh rookie king yoonmin is what made me ship yoonmin initially - jimin's adoration for yoongi was just too precious and yoongi's soft spot for jimin so darn obvious with jimin now being all over jungkook and the whole jihope whatever business this all died down a little but then there are moments like these that give me hope again. yoonmin may not be as active but they're still precious af Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The way JM sit's like a girl I don't know which era is this though I actually like to believe that they still play together if they both have time. Old habits die hard In one of BTS latest fansign, a fan asked Jimin about his fav Bangtan member and Jimin chose JHope and Suga. I actually surprise he didn't choose JK. In other question about his relationship with V, Jimin drew 2 swords to describe their relationship and said that they're friend/enemy, there is no in between. And at Jimin birthday, V wrote in fancafe a letter for Jimin, but what caught my attention is that V said something along the lines that Jimin usually doesn't care about him, but if it's not him then who would leave a message for JM birthday maybe there are some error in translation, idk. But atleast it gives me more perspective about their dynamics. I don't think it's bad, because they always say that they're like family and usually family members have this kind of love-hate relationship with each other Like me and my sister,,,we would fight each other one day, then make up the next day, only to fight again and make up again and the cycle goes But even though we like to fight each other, doesn't mean we harbor negative/hard feeling, and when we go outside, we'll protect and defend each other. Does it make any sense?? And I think in a group there are always member(s) you closer to than others. It's normal really but if I said it out loud many people will feel offended and I don't want to argue with other ARMYs. It;s exhausting Sorry Aw this is cute This was during Boy in Luv, wasn't it? I'm def sure they still play / spend time together - just look how comfortable they're with each other Definitely yes to everything you said - BTS are totally like a family. Which is pretty much amazing to me, since there aren't many groups where it's like this. I mean sure, there's a difference from pure business partners to really good friends, but Bangtan are like on a whole different level tbh. All that teasing, banting, playfull fighting or whatever really doesn't worry me one bit, because at the end of the day they're all leaning on each other. and yes, like you said, this love hate relationship is actually what shows us just how close they are. and I'm also sure not everyone is 1000% compatible character wise with each other, but that's only normal. In most Asian country, holding one's head is considered rude/impolite,,,,especially if that person is older than you. But it could also mean adoration/affection though so I really like it when he does that )) Also I find that most often than not, they use to sit next to each other. I'm pretty sure those aren't fake subs too but can't actually remember the vid there is lots of fanservice going on in anything japanese related tho (cause their love for yaoi and everything) so if you manage to get a hold on japanese vids chances are high you find something suitable. [note, I'm a pretty new BTS fan; fell hard and fast for them but still have a lot of their content to watch] I'm here because after going through a fair bit of fanfiction, I was wondering why there seems to be so much Yoonmin, as their relationship/interactions didn't particularly stand out to me when seeing them in Bangtan Bombs or other various things. I guess part of that was just still getting to know who was who, and then some bias-blindness on my part. But I've read enough Yoonmin now that somehow it's now on my "preferred ships for fics" list, lol, and I'm looking out for it now in their videos/pics. I'm guessing that the reason for that is that, despite never actually seeing/looking for it on their actual content, the concept of the Yoonmin dynamics are interesting to me? (guessing that's a big reason for Yoonmin despite apparently giving little material as some have said) But I still would like to know other people's reasons or something? I don't know, I've never commented in a thread like this before ._. sorry for writing so much, this is probably out of place here I just really like analysis/meta >< please take care of me! but to be honest I might just lurk mostly but I hope this thread grows a hundred fold! like the vmin thread lol oh wow, hi and I do feel you on many points tbh. when I first got into bts, during rookie king airing, I had no idea about their ships but I got this feeling people may be shipping jihope, from their interactions during the episode, which were the most obvious / blatant to me. I was definitely surprised when I found out people are all over yoonmin / taekook instead. then, some months later, I rewatched the episodes, this time a yoonmin shipper myself, mostly because of cute gifs and fanfiction. and I realized yoonmin is always there - just not that obvious. maybe it's yoongi's hand casually resting on jimin's shoulder, maybe it's jimin cheering loudly for his favourite hyung, maybe it's the way yoongi instinctively pulls jimin close and allows him to rest his head on his shoulder - there are so many small moments that are both times super adorable and really endearing. yoonmin is not about big gestures but mainly the point yoongi has the hugest soft spot for jimin, like he allows him to do things no one, not even jungkook, is allowed to, and jimin has an imense amount of respect and admiration for yoongi. extra points for yoongi acting like jimin annoys him the most and the next second, without a doubt "jimin is my favourite dongsaeng". ever since debut times, yoonmin has low key been going really strong - whenever asked, yoongi points out jimin as his favourite dongsaeng, and jimin is yoongi's biggest fan without a doubt. remember when jimin claimed the nevermind intro is his favourite song of their latest album, because it's yoongi's song? remember when yoongi said he's going to make a song just for jimin, because he likes jimin the best? also, remember when jimin had to kiss a member as a dare, and everyone immediately started shouting "yoongi yoongi"? then, jimin cheering for yoongi during basketball at isacs, yoongi encouraging jimin during the latest isacs, also, all the time yoonmin spent time together during their bangtan episodes and whatnots because of no apparent reason - just think about the run episode in the amusement park in the states, where yoonmin were riding all the rides together. jimin helping yoongi preparing his gifts, yoongi giving jimin his code for his bank card just so he can buy snacks, yoonmin preparing all them cakes and and and. I could go on for hours actually ;) just saying that yes, yoonmin is definitely not the most obvious / striking ship, but their moments are constant and plenty and ever so secretive or often times them doing things just on instinct, that makes it extra cute. they're not 24/7 in your face, and I guess that's what makes the ship so adorable as you can see, I also really like analysis ahaha. thanks for dropping by, and don't feel shy to post anything! the thread is like super dead so we're thankful for every single post ;) Edited January 26, 2016 by crinchan 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
