Kim Jong Kook revealed the real reason why his former group, Turbo, broke up.

On January 26, Kim Jong Kook appeared as a guest on SBS′ Healing Camp and shared the real reason why Turbo broke up in the past.

Sharing what happened immediately after releasing Turbo′s second album, Kim Jong Kook said, "Turbo had too many schedules in the past. We used to go to 17 different schedules in one day. But the crucial reason was because we were conned."

"A different agency came and began creating trouble, saying that our agency was exploiting us. I also heard some groundless rumors saying that our agency was going to get investigated by prosecutors, and one day during a broadcast, detectives suddenly came and said we needed to be investigated. I believed those groundless rumors back then, and we all got into our dancer′s car and ran away for about six months. I say ran away, but it was really a vacation."

"The whole investigation was a false rumor and another company′s scam. But Kim Jung Nam, who was really exhausted, said he was going to start a business and left Turbo," explained Kim Jong Kook. "Compared to all the work, there wasn′t a lot of pay. There was no royalty agreement, so even though we sold a lot of albums, we didn′t receive more money."

Kim Jong Kook also went on to talk about how Turbo reunited for the Infinity Challenge ToToGa special, as well as his career as a soloist and a Running Man member.

ah i see, damn kjkglobal still around, i remember seeing them cause they subbed some early episodes of running man ^^

yeah, they just back from ~6 months hiatus ( i don't know the reason), but they just comeback ontime,

Kjk is getting more active and most likely release his 20 anniv album in April.

Actually, SBS and Running Man need to be grateful , because without I-subs and Kjkglobal as the first subbers, RM probably won't be this popular , haha

Turbo had so many problem, but their albums sold million. Another jealous agency was trying to mess them up.. But their agency was already messed up to begin with they sell very well but received nothing. Just like TS entertainment.

Too bad they disbanded before I got to know kpop.

Feel bad about what happened to Turbo. At the same time, I'm super proud of KJK for always keeping his head up and remaining strong even through all that.

isubs were amazing, always good quality and they listed the BGM's, it was awesome xD

Yeah, love that subbing team! Haha!
