I'm just happy GOT7 started out with original songs with Around the World and "So Lucky" though it is a japanese version of GGG's too which no one existed until they did their Zepp Tour.  Also they talked in Japanese during their Zepp tour and the interviews they did were also in Japanese.

If they can't promote in Korea cause others are promoting then why not either way they are gaining experience on the stage, it's not like they disappeared from Korea while they were in Japan.

Tier 1 - TVXQ, BOA .These are the ones who started the hallyu wave in Japan (in b4 winter sonata) and still remain as many call it, "the wall(s)". I honestly don't see any other groups achieve the same success as these two in Japan. They are pretty much considered as "jpop" already...  And the interest in kpop groups have been in a steady decline over the past decade or so.

Tier 2 - Big Bang, SNSD, Kara(5 members) - Kara is a sad case really. I thought they were gonna reach tier 1 but they fell down hard.

Tier 3 - 2pm, Shinee - Steady climb. Shinee doing their first tokyo dome concerts in march i think. Haven't heard much of 2pm. I think Shinee will reach tier 2 in 1-2 years time.

Btob, aoa, bia4, got7, block b, winner, etc should really focus on their Korean popularity first before going to Japan really... Especially btob....

2pm already did Tokyo Dome in 2013 and will be releasing their 9th single today.
