They all have a starting dream or goal. They get into a Kpop group to (hopefully) kick start their careers into something bigger. Many idols are only doing Kpop, simply waiting for their big break/chance, to getting a CF deal, appearing in dramas, collaborations, solo career, or anything else that takes them to the next level. They don't plan to be in their groups forever. They are doing it just to get noticed and popular enough to do bigger and better things later.
