What is the styling piece you're most satisfied with out of all you've done up until now? In order to be chosen to work as a YG stylist, you have to bring one of your styling works and go into a sort of survival. A business team including Yang Hyun Suk then evaluates the pieces you bring and I got to stay after winning that competition. The styling coordination work I did then is what I'm most satisfied with. It's confidential so I'm not allowed to show it to you but it is definitely a piece of work that I put my all into. After working with big companies like SM and JYP, in what aspect was YG different? First off, entertainment companies generally let you work as a freelancer. However, you sign a contract to work as part of YG. I felt a sense of fellowship and thought, "YG is a company with a strong family bond." Another point I noticed was that generally to make a coordination or styling piece, I would have meetings with a team and consult with them before agreeing on the piece of work. In YG, I was allowed to freely do what style I chose to do. However, in change of the fact that you were allowed to reflect your style as you wanted 100%, their motto was that you had to bear with the outcome that comes with it as well. To sum it up, you have worked with the big three companies in our country. Looking back on it, what are your thoughts? JYP is very clear, neat, and comfortable; a company that's like a family. As for SM, I feel that they only take in experts and specialists so it's a company that makes you carry a professional mindset. YG is a company that allows me to freely express my artistic inclinations through fashion. All these companies have their own charms that will make you want to work with them.
