Park Si Hoo's legal battles finally comes to an end

Recommended Posts

Charges against Park Si Hoo, filed by his former agency rep Mr. Hwang, have been acquitted, thus ending the long legal battle that had come upon the actor.

On July 19, a post on his official fan cafe Si Hoo Rang titled ′Emergency Announcement′ stated that "Park Si Hoo′s legal battle with his former agency has ended as of today."

The post continued, "Mr. Hwang had sued Park Si Hoo for making false accusations, but prosecution decided to clear all charges. With this, the incident has completely come to an end."

In March, Park Si Hoo was sued by an aspiring celebrity for rape. Soon after, he also sued his accuser, her senior and Hwang for levelling false accusations, threatening the actor and defaming him. Hwang filed a lawsuit against the actor in return for defamation and more, further tangling an already complicated case.

Park Si Hoo and his accuser settled their case, and Park Si Hoo dropped his case against Hwang. Hwang, on the other hand, showed he was willing to pursue his case and asked the Corea Entertainment Management Association to help settle it.

The settlement is still underway, but Hwang′s lawsuit has been concluded with an acquittal.

Park Si Hoo has been lying low since.

if he can ever pull off another amazing character like he did with Princess' Man, i could care less about his past and plus, it's all in the clear anyways. i look forward to how his future will be like.

Wait, so I dont understand, is he innocent?

Are they really going to let him go with rape accusations?? WTF?!

that isn't about the rape accusation, that part has already been settled many weeks ago.

That's the lawsuit his former agency launched against that is ending here with PSH cleared of all charges [of defamation].

It didn't go that far, the girl withdrew the accusations and they settled for money, if I remember well.

I see.

Once again, rape accusation settle with money. Oh well, if she is satisfied with this, who am I to judge her?

I wish though, some women would have the courage to go throw the whole process of the accusation, and not settle with money.

It would pave the road for more women...

You're acting like it was 100% sure she was raped, the whole case was getting really fishy both sides had an equal chance of winning a trial if it went that far

Actually I wish if all this had been settled in court.

The fact that he paid her to shut up makes him look guilty. If he was really innocent, he would want the justice to clear his name.

Of course, nothing is 100%, and I do agree it was beginning to get fishy, but the police usually doesnt give everything they have to the public.

So it may sound messy and confusing to us, but I think the judges had a clearer vision of what happened.

Now, nobody knows where is the truth.

You're assuming again, I didn't say he's the one that paid her. I don't remember the details but she could also have asked the money in exchange of dropping the case.

And if you're analysing stuff, all that thing was already having a huge impact on his career as he was currently promoting his drama it's not naive to say he received a lot of external pressure to end it asap.

As I said, both versions of the story were fragile with lots of holes and evidences to corroborate, both versions had enough elements to be believed and doubted at the same time.

They know the truth, nobody else does. Therefore it's time for people to stop assuming. It's doing more harm to both, including the one that is the victim in that case, than anything else, and that just to satisfy petty curiousity.

According to Park Si Hoo's lawyer:

they decided to both drop their suits and reconcile. There was talk about money being involved going around in the media, and to this we've already said that there was no settlement involved."
