Florida teen poses as OB/GYN for a month before someone says something

Meanwhile in Florida… Doogie Howser is real.

A young man has been caught posing as doctor at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

But not just any doctor, an OB/GYN by the name of “Dr. Robinson.†And not just one time, but for an entire month.

 

On top of all that, staff at the hospital are not charging him with a crime.

His plan was thwarted when one of the patients reported seeing a “child†in a white coat with the hospital’s logo on the front.

 

“The first thing I thought was, ‘I am getting, I am really getting old because these young doctors look younger every year,†said one of the doctors.

He says he has actually been doing this for “years,†and his mother claims he is sick.

Here’s the official statement from the hospital:

 

“The individual never had contact with any hospital patients and did not gain access to any patient care areas of the hospital at any time. The hospital immediately notified local authorities, who took the individual into custody, and we are cooperating with their ongoing investigation.â€

But I guess if he never saw patients then it's not as bad. He didn't quite manage to impersonate a doctor. He was just pretending to be one in the halls of a hospital.
