It's always funny to read billboard user comments when they post an article on the new top 10 list. The users there even made a "Flop 10" chart for the biggest flops lol. The further down the food chain a band is, the more relevant sales become to their survival. With my other bias groups I semi-keep track of it but not really. With B1A4 it's a lot easier since I have paid attention to it since their debut. It's nice to have that info just for the fact I can compare how they do each comeback with their previous ones. It's not so much comparing it to other groups but more so comparing it to their own past sales. I like to just see whether they are improving or not. I'm not sure why this has to be a black and white "you either care about sales too much or it doesn't matter" but these arguments always turn into that. You can care about sales as a fan and that doesn't make you a delusional troglodyte. However, caring about the music also should play in as well.
