So here is what I thought of Rain:

 

One thing I loved about it, is the combination with the piano in the chorus. I really liked the instrumental in this song. Even the drums didn't sound fake like they did in I. The chorus is basically heaven... xD

 

Though, I found the verses' melody quite uninteresting.

 

Overally, I liked the song better than I (even though, I is more catchy). I just liked this one a lot.

i understand poeple will love it im not given her hate i looooove tae with all i am, but i listened like 2 times and its not really relistenable to me... 99% of the time all of snsd and most definitely tae's I album has better songs than the single.. but I was probably the strongest single released with any SM artist in the past 2 or 3 years... i guess i just got to hyped... and was expecting the same again... UR was amazing also but id say my fav song was Gemini... ill listen to it again throughout the day... i just dont want SM to screw up taes solo carrer... she need very strong singles...

 

and i just feel this would have been better on her first album whixh would have just made it stronger... im not a fan at all of what SM has done for the last 3 years... i mean damn they even released they last album in 2 EP's just release a FULL alubm for once SM.... i reeeeeeaaaaaalllly hope taes second album is a full alubm with 10+ songs and more than 1 damn single... it always 1 single it really gets on my nerves when theyre is always amazing tracks on their albums and they never make them a single...

 

 

i still hope it does great though... taefolyfe... but im just disappointed in the song thats all...

trust SM, they know what they are doing. there are many songs that we taegangers find better than the title track, but the koreans wont bother with. they know what kind of stuff will sell better:))

 

e.g. ryeowook just had one of the greatest songs ever for his debut but it fell below taeyeon's I quickly on melon. taeyeon's set me free was amazing but not something that would do well on charts too. if taeyeon doesnt do so well, even if her song quality is good, SM might not want to give her resources to produce songs anymore, and this will be worse than wishing the title track and the B side tracks are reversed.

I swear Taeyeon can sing any kind of song and make it perfect, her voice makes everything more beautiful, I'm in love with Rain and Secret ⤠It's my first time here btw I just want to ask you if she will attend music shows, I can't wait to hear a live version of the single 😭

@Our Taeyeontopper Aya: Secret and the full piano goodness. FULL! I LOVE IT! I can imagine Taeyeon just leaning beside a grand piano being a flawless vocalist.

 

Btw I'm still not over rain, I do love the track. I hope we see more versatility from Taeyeon soon!

 

Tbh I was expecting more from the music video hahahaha that's my creative blocks of idea usually wanders off to and I thought it could've been more flamboyant. Lol did I just say that. We couldvve seen Taeyeon have her hair transormation in the video. That will surely be dramatic. Hahahaha. Or have her submerge in the flood and go all dory, 'just keep swimming!' Lol or rain to sunrise is so predictable it could've been rain to snow.

 

But I got to see one of Taeyeon's best hairstyles since debut in this MV so I'll shut up. Hahahaha
