[+423, -10] Female guests avoid Ji Sukjin when they do a couple race. Poor him... I also feel bad for Jihyo unnie because she fills a spot which the guests avoid. They should take care of them2. [+326, -12] Yeah Song Jihyo gets edited out a lot and they have too many female guests, so she gets outcasted...3. [+282, -11] I really agree. Their screen time is getting lesser ã… ã… They're not even shown unless they do a significant act... She got an award at entertainment awards two years ago. I feel bad because she's not treated well ã… ã… 4. [+126, -2] Song Jihyo always lets them win... She voluntarily loses the games. In the Bad Women episode, she brought Ji Sukjin first...5. [+120, -2] I like Running Man but I want them to stop with the guest specials. I like thrilling episodes, like Choi Min Soo episode in the beginning ã…‹ã…‹ The scale is getting bigger and the celebrities are coming on the show to promote their movies and dramas. It's honestly... ^^ Some female celebrities are busy taking care of their image so they act cutesy and careful. It's uncomfortable to watch them. Besides that, I want them to increase Jihyo unnie's screen time... Her visual is also jjang and she's a goddess but she's poorly treated because they have to take care of the female celebrities promoting their projects. I want them to do a fewer guest specials and make episodes with the permanent members only. When they have guests, the show centers around the guests, not the members... The captions are also about the guests and they're cringe-worthy6. [+107, -66] I like Song Jihyo because she's pretty and cool. But objectively, she's not a funny person... Song Jihyo's screen time is mostly when she succeeds the missions by herself or when she's with Gary as Monday Couple... Gary still has a lot of screen time without Monday Couple because he's good with variety shows, but Jihyo will have much less screen time if they don't do Monday Couple. Jihyo doesn't know how to joke back to the members. It's either getting mad or laughing at them. And it's not even funny sometimes so I get embarrassed... Other members have their own characters and positions but Jihyo is nothing without Monday Couple. I want her to develop her own character7. I find her very cool and funny when she has more screen time. They need to let her shine!!!! She is a very nice person. She never steal limelight from guest or RM members.... SomeGoodSomeBad 787 Posted January 15, 2015 Share Posted January 15, 2015 Sadly, as mentioned Jihyo is not a really funny person and she really does simply let guests win. By itself that is ok but when its too obvious she's letting people win, it becomes a let down. As the "Ace", she should be showing that she turns bad situations around and in many cases she does. For example, the last suzy episode when she defended her and took down the taller and bigger kwang soo, you could see that she didn't have any reservations taking on the other RM members but when she's facing guests, it seems like she had kid gloves on, especially female guests. It is understandable though, as she's an actress and rough housing guests (especially actors and actresses) is bad for her outside RM but letting others win is not good for her in RM itself. She needs a new character that shows another side of her as her "Ace" character is constrained and her brave side is only seen in flashes (eg when she's nonchalantly looking over the edge of a tower while YJS and kwang soo urge her in terrified tones to move back) Ji Suk Jin is ok nowadays as he's more active now in getting screen time compared to 2012-2013. In the last episode vs the monster, he did a very smart U turn, though he escape but was still the next eliminated member. He's also good at the talking segments of the show. I missed the old episodes of RM, where the members interact and competitive among each other. Jihyo is usually paired with JSJ and HaHa/Kwangsoo and they usually get the least of screen time or their missions are just skipped. I like having the guests on the show, since it gives a different vibe and I love how the guests and the cast interact but it would indeed be nice to have a cast-only episode again. Also, they should just really invite guests who are good at variety and are eager to participate. This weeks episode with that guy who's whole stick is to be grumpy and complaining all the time, I never got so annoyed watching an episode. I get that she's sidelined when female guests appear but let's not act like this 6 men vs 1 women thing never favoured her. On episodes with male idols she gets extra attention just because she's the only female. It's a fair exchange. Sometimes she's neglected when there's female guests but she's compensated in the following episode with male idols. Not only that, but being the only female has put her in a unique position and brought her much attention. She doesn't get screentime cos she don't get variety.
