The most expensive textbook I had ever bought was my finance book (newest edition) which was $160+ish. I know some disciplines have textbooks that cost $250+ at least. My last semester of my University I studied 5 subjects because I want to finish all that semester, and the total is around $1,150 lol. There are alternatives: booktornado.com you can search your book and they'll bring up every site that has it and its price (kinda like what Amazon does). It was a translation theory book and the book sucked hardcore (was written terribly) and I should've never bought it since it was hardly used. T_T It was for the fall semester before this previous one and now for revenge fun I just use it to take frustration out on by ripping up pages or drawing all over them, etc. Crudely beautiful.
